I am incredibly grateful to Erin and her team for helping me through one of the most difficult periods of my case. Before hiring her, my previous attorney failed to file an important contempt motion against the other party for nearly a month before trial, which placed me in a very disadvantaged position. By the time I started looking for new representation, there were only about two weeks left before the trial, and many good law firms declined my case because the timeline was so urgent. Despite the situation already being extremely difficult — and even after a previous request for continuance had been denied because of my former attorney’s mistakes — Erin still agreed to take my case. She successfully helped me obtain a continuance and worked diligently afterward to rebuild my case strategy. Throughout the process, she and her team were professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. What felt like a very passive and hopeless situation gradually became manageable and strategic again because of their hard work. I worked with Sara Winter and Elizabeth Campbell to update our estate plan based on a referral from my Texas based financial planner. My experience was great. I think part of the reason for success was that my financial planner had helped me prepare and determine what we wanted in our estate plan documents. Even then, the start-up process was thorough and got us going in the right direction with more detailed information. Working with Sara and Elizabeth was easy. They provided clear documents and then just the right style of "gentle nudges" to get our feedback and comments. Any concerns I might have had about working remotely were not at all warranted. Even though the review, comments,, and change process took awhile due to my 2-3 week response time over a few iterations, I found Sara and Elizabeth to be exceptionally competent and trustworthy. I found Sara to be exceptionally clear and knowledgable in my conversations with her. I really appreciated that. Preparing and executing estate documents is something I believe most of us would rather put off. Contemplating my eventual health decline and death is rarely on my to-do list. Sara and Elizabeth made this as easy as it could have possible been. I recommend them to anyone, including my adult children.
We've used this firm for the past several years for estate planning. I pay them $500 an hour and am extremely unhappy with them. They made multiple mistakes that we caught along the way, never felt they were proactive or organized in their approach, and then - upon a death and seeing the results of their work - realized just how poorly they had prepared the estate. I will never use them again, and would not recommend this firm.
