We don't eat out very often, but decided to celebrate our anniversary here. We order from a 3 course preset menu to keep costs down. Of course the view is amazing! The food was also excellent. We both had small creme burlees and they were outstanding! The service may have been affected by the fact that our waiter was in training. It felt like it was his first day on the job AND he'd never waited tables before. The restaurant validated our parking ticket, but we were still charged $8 for parking when we left. Overall, we are glad we splurged. We will come back because it was just a nice overall evening.
★★★★★ Phenomenal from start to finish. Portland City Grill absolutely lived up to the hype. The food, cocktails, atmosphere, and that VIEW… just wow. We started with a dozen oysters and the grilled asparagus, and both were fantastic. For dinner, we had the Alaskan halibut with herb vegetable orzo and beurre blanc, and it was outstanding! Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and full of flavor without overpowering the fish. The cocktails were just as good. We had an Old Fashioned and a French 76, and both were beautifully made. But then there’s the view. Sitting high above Portland with the city, river, bridges, and mountains stretched out in front of you is an experience all by itself. We honestly just kept looking out the window like, is this real?! Everything about the evening felt special without feeling stuffy. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent food, great drinks, and one of the most incredible views we’ve experienced since moving to Portland. Absolutely phenomenal. We will 100% be back. ❤

Had been to this amazing place for my husband’s birthday ! We were taken care of really well, amazing people and the food was fantastic. The view was stunning and if you time it right, you can experience a beautiful day to night shift. The wine and whiskey were amazing ! The whole experience made our day really special.
Not worth it. We came for Mother's Day. They only offered the $80/person course meal. All food was mediocre. The steak was dry and unflavorful. The pasta was not any better than what I can make at home with premade sauce. The halibut wasn't good. The sea bass was actually decent. Dessert was also below average. We were charged for parking even after parking validation because the food service was slow. My mom's food came out wrong so they had to redo the food. The dessert took forever. We paid $600 for 6 people and $24 for parking. I called the assistant for the parking issue but he just hung up. Overall, very disappointing food and service experience. Not worth it.
We found this spot based on Google reviews, and it was totally worth it! Parking was a bit of a challenge at first, but we later found out you can park at the bottom of the tower, which made things much easier. The food and quality were excellent, and the service was superb. We highly recommend coming here just for the view—you get an absolutely beautiful look at Mount Hood from up there!
