My 2015 GMC Yukon wasn't blowing cold air, and Google led me to Honest-1 Auto Care. I was really impressed with their service. They explained the possible causes, gave me a ballpark estimate upfront, and kept me informed throughout the repair process. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, approachable, and easy to work with. They fixed my A/C at a very reasonable price, and I'm extremely happy with the overall experience. I highly recommend Honest-1 Auto Care for their honesty, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
I was facing a huge problem with oil consumption with my 2017 Kia Rio and Martin and his the team at Leo’s completely turned it around. They diagnosed the issue quickly, suggested a heavier weight oil, changed the gaskets, and flushed the engine. The service was top-notch, the pricing was fair, and Mark kept me informed throughout. Thanks to them, my car is back on the road, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend this shop!

They did a good job on some repairs, however, the last experience was absolutely a huge headache. Started out replacing a wheel bearing which turned out to be defective so they installed a new wheel bearing (at no charge), but then all of the dash lights came on which had never been on before (ABS, brake, tire pressure light, etc). Brought car back in and they suggested to send it to their Fort Mill shop where 3 different mechanics looked at it over a period of 2 weeks and suggested a ABS module be put in for roughly $1,500 and this was for a used module. I declined this repair and picked up car immediately. Then my brakes started pulsating and the brakes were not old. I have since went to a new automotive repair shop and they fixed something that Honest 1 didn't even find for roughly $200. I feel like Honest 1 was dishonest and most likely caused the damage to my car. I would not recommend them, and they lost my business for good.
Dedication to the customer experience was evident upon walking in the front door. I guess I expected what I'll call a "traditional garage experience". The waiting area was bright, it was clean, it smelled clean, and I was greeted by friendly, smiling faces. I interacted with four team members during my visit, and each of them were professional and made sure I was informed and updated during my repairs. Thank you Honest-1 Team for the prompt, friendly, economically friendly service! p.s. The bathrooms are clean, too!
I had hopes of finding a great indy shop. Unfortunately, my experience at Honest-1 was less than ideal. Full fluid service for my truck: engine oil, differentials, transfer case, coolant flush, and an A/C check. Oil filter wasn't changed, coolant spilled all over the truck (including exterior paint), and A/C pressure line caps left randomly in the engine bay. Staff and management was very apologetic and offered a free oil change after fixing the initial issues. 3 hours for the second follow up appointment & oddly - the shop had me acting as the bay foreman checking off the rework. I generally understand the gesture of making the customer happy, but the QA process appears to be missing a step (i.e. manager/shop foreman sign-off on completed work). With the time invested, I will just go to the dealership and pay higher prices to avoid the time lost.
