Went to Chouette for our anniversary. Our waitress, Jen, was phenomenal. She helped guide us on various items and we loved them all. The appetizers were amazingly fresh but not too filling. We both ordered drinks that did not disappoint. I was shocked at the size of the main course. For the food and the service I’d say fine dining. Will absolutely be back. Thank you to everyone for such an amazing memory/experience. Side note: just wanted to add an appreciation for attention to detail. As I was watching the staff they all paid mind to EVERTHING. While watching the bartender making drinks I noticed our waitress inspect every single glass before using it. Everyone there was so kind and helpful without feeling like we were rushed.
Food and service were excellent, atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, though our table was a little wobbly, and the construction around the restaurant didnt help, though that wasn't Chouette's fault of course. Le pain et beurre brought out for us was splendid, the outside very crunchy and cooked to perfection, while the inside was warm and soft and airy. The steak frites was delicious and cooked perfectly medium rare to my liking. It had a really nice sear but the inside was still very tender and flavorful. The salad my wife ordered was topped with loads of freshly shredded cheese, and was delicious and a nice refreshing, light lunch. Also ordered a whiskey citrus drink which was delicious and not too strong but not too watered down, very refreshing and cold as well. Overall, an absolutely excellent lunch and we will definitely be coming back. Thanks!

Sometimes high-end French restaurants can lean into being stuffy, but the service at Chouette is entirely refreshing. The front-of-house team greets you with genuine warmth, setting a welcoming tone immediately. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable, seamlessly explaining the nuances of the French menu and offering excellent beverage pairings without ever making us feel rushed. The pacing of the meal was flawless.
Absolutely incredible experience! Jess was hands-down one of the best servers we’ve ever had. She is so warm, attentive, and genuine. She made us feel completely taken care of, like we were guests in someone’s home. And the FOOD… we genuinely cannot decide what our favorite was. The deviled eggs, the Gruyère choux pastry that tasted like the fanciest cheese puff imaginable, the lobster linguine, and the astonishing birthday dessert my fiancé received complimentary….. every single thing was seriously outstanding. 10/10 food, 15/10 service. We will absolutely be back!
Three of us walked in last night without reservations. It was the first time for all of us. The space is pretty, and the service was attentive. The appetizers of beef tartare, escargot, and deviled eggs with shaved black truffles were all terrific. I had the skirt steak with bernaise which was well prepared and delicious. Everyone loved their cocktails and they also had a nice selection of wines by the glass with coravin. Would give it 4.5-5 stars across the board and look forward to trying again when their spring menu comes out. The current menu doesn’t have foie gras but was told they were hoping that the spring menu would have it.
