Ryan was great during the consultation and quickly honed in on the issue (a leaky water heater tank). A few hours later Caleb showed up on-site and installed a brand new water heater. Thank you for the quick turnaround time - a consultation followed by a same day install!! They showed up for the consultation at 8am, and managed to schedule the water heater installation later during the same day. The installation of a brand new gas water heater only took 2.5hours!!
My review is based on 2 factors, over-charging for basic parts and poor customer service in resolving an issue that was created by a repair they made. Over the years, we have appreciated the technicians and have found many of them to be hard working and knowledgeable. Our biggest concern is over the repetitive nature of placing their technicians in a position to oversell you on services not needed or costly upgrades. We have also been in a situation in which a technician did not properly reseal a drain cover, which then created a water issue in our basement. We were told multiple times someone would be out to fix the issue and twice we were cancelled on because the technician ran out of time. It became clear to me that the company owner does not allow overtime even to repair an issue created by their team. I am also assuming that they are understaffed and over-commit, again creating a difficult issue for the technicians to manage in the front lines. Being a healthy home member for a monthly fee was not valued by leadership nor was there any phone call ever made to us by management after numerous calls to customer service informing them of our frustrations and concerns. We were also quoted $400 for a repair of a PVC pipe and installation for a vent from our HVAC system. I went to ACE purchased that for $8.00 and installed it myself with no tools within 5 minutes. It now makes me question every repair and cost we have paid to them over the several years totaling thousands of dollars. If you continue to utilize their services search all parts before agreeing to anything. I would also not recommend wasting your money on healthy home membership as it provides no added value. My 2 is for poor management by leadership and poor customer service, as well as price gouging loyal customers.

I hired this company for a full electrical service upgrade at my home. While the technical work ultimately passed inspection, I was disappointed that a large exterior conduit installation at the main entrance of my home was not clearly discussed or visually explained prior to installation. Had I understood the final appearance in advance, I would have made different decisions regarding the project. The most difficult part of the experience was the communication afterward. Multiple follow-ups took extended periods to receive responses, and I spent several weeks attempting to address concerns regarding the appearance of the installation. Although I eventually received a partial credit, I still did not feel my concerns were fully resolved. What I found especially frustrating was that after I put my concerns in writing, no one from the company came to my home to review the installation with me in person. My communication was limited primarily to phone calls and emails. After speaking once with the project manager, follow-up communication became inconsistent, and I was later directed to another person. At no point did anyone schedule an in-person visit to discuss my concerns or review possible solutions onsite. In my opinion, when a customer raises concerns about a completed project, having someone meet with the homeowner in person can go a long way toward improving communication and easing the resolution process. Unfortunately, my experience felt very transactional and lacking in customer care after the installation was completed. My advice to future customers is to ask very detailed questions about exterior routing, visibility, and aesthetics before work begins, even if those details are not specifically shown in the written estimate, and to carefully review all contract terms before signing. Edited - To clarify, my concern was never whether the installation met code or passed inspection. They are incorrect in stating that my home had existing conduit. There was an electric service cable that was not covered not nor did it protrude the roof. Had I known this was the only aesthetic solution this company offered, I would not have proceeded with hiring them. After I raised concerns no one from the company came to my home to review the installation with me in person. My review reflects my personal experience with communication and customer service during the resolution process.
I received exceptional service from Joe today who pumped the sludge out of my lift station. He was very courteous and responsive to my concerns and issues. He took great care to avoid damaging my wife's plantings.
Workers were 2+ hours late for both days of what I was told would be a one day job. The main job they were here to do was to upgrade from us from 100 amp to 200 amp service and separate out a triple tap a home inspector noted that was causing a breaker to trip frequently. The guy from Wilson who came to give the quote said doing the service upgrade and separating the kitchen from the master bedroom and the bathroom, putting each on their own separate breakers, would solve our problem of it tripping constantly. This was written in their quote. As it turns out, separating the three rooms onto three breakers did not solve our problem, but Wilson won't do anything about it without charging us more. They offered a "discounted rate as a courtesy" for future work and also a discounted healthy home membership - no thanks! I was recorded in a conversation saying "ok, uh-huh" and "I understand" when they mentioned that it's possible for a breaker to trip if it is overloaded, which makes sense. But they had told me that separating the triple tap onto three breakers would fix our problem. We have not changed anything else about the wiring or plugged in any additional small appliances, but every time we turn on the microwave if the fridge happens to kick on it trips the breaker. I'm extremely disappointed. They were also asked to add a pull chain light fixture in a food storage pantry. They apparently made a mistake when they cut the first hole so they moved over a couple inches and cut a second hole. They "fixed" the first hole with a wood screw. Rather than installing an independent pull chain light, they tied the pull chain fixture to a switch that operates the adjacent storage room light. They made a big dusty mess by cutting up the ceiling in the storage room in order to tie the wiring together to a single switch and make the pull chain unneccessary. I wasn't warned they would be doing that and I didn't empty the room, so I had to wash everything that had been hanging on our baker's rack. The adjacent room's ceiling was put back together very poorly with random screws holding the tiles together and it will now have to be replaced entirely. Wilson won't do anything to fix the ceiling issues they caused because they are considered cosmetic and the contract fine print says that "some paint or drywall damage is possible". Scratches or marks would be understandable, but this seems excessive (see photos). To review, Wilson was late, slow, messy, and expensive, so I would never recommend them.
