I would give this company ZERO stars if I could. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with an HVAC company. The technician came into my home, tracked dirt and mud onto my carpeted stairs, and never offered to clean it up or apologize. The diagnosis was completely wrong. I was told I needed a $585 evaporator coil cleaning, a $375 capacitor replacement, an expensive maintenance plan, and that I might even have a refrigerant leak requiring the indoor evaporator coil attached to my furnace to be replaced. They made it sound like my HVAC system was on the verge of catastrophic failure. The total estimate was approximately $1,300, and that didn't even include the possible evaporator coil replacement, which could have added another $1,500–$3,000 or more. The real problem? A disconnected trunk duct in the attic. One of the main trunk ducts had come loose, so the upstairs wasn't getting any airflow. Once the duct was reattached, the cooling problem was solved. A repair that took only minutes fixed what this company completely failed to diagnose. After they left, I purchased an OEM Lennox-compatible capacitor on Amazon for $8.50 and commercial evaporator coil cleaner for about $28. Cleaning the coil took roughly 30 minutes with a garden hose, and replacing the capacitor took less than a minute. I understand HVAC companies have overhead, labor, insurance, and warranties, but after seeing the actual cost of the materials and how simple those jobs were, I found the quoted prices of $585 for a coil cleaning and $375 for a capacitor replacement to be extremely difficult to justify—especially when they completely missed the real problem. When I contacted one of the owners, I expected accountability. Instead, I got a condescending attitude and someone who refused to acknowledge that their technician had failed to diagnose the actual issue. They refused to offer any refund, leaving me no choice but to dispute the charges with my bank. Between the inaccurate diagnosis, the attempt to sell me approximately $1,300 in repairs that didn't address the actual problem, the excessive pricing, the refusal to take responsibility, and the mud tracked through my home, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. I strongly suggest getting a second opinion before authorizing any expensive repairs from this company.

David did a great job on my electrical requests! I call on a Wednesday evening and he was here first thing Thursday morning. I wasn’t sure the outlet I wanted to install would be possible, but he was able to do it in a minimally invasive way and very efficiently. He didn’t even have to go to the parts store and the price was very reasonable! RS Andrews is always my go-to for home services. Their plumbers and heating and air techs are bomb!
Had a technician out to investigate a gas leak. He was both ineffective and tried to upcharge us on unnecessary repairs. The main issue was that refused to diagnose the problem and kept jumping to conclusions without any investigation. We even pulled out our gas leak detection device to show where we were localizing the leak. He decided to ignore us and instead tell us that all the flex pipe in the house should be replaced. A $3k+ repair with no proof that this would fix the problem. He charged us $800 and removed drywall for “diagnostics;” again without any proof of the source of the leak. Because of this technician’s lack of professionalism, we decided to seek other quotes. Later that evening, we investigated the pipe further with our device and localized the leak to a loose connection that we tightened to fix the problem. If we had trusted this technician and done what he wanted, we would have spent $3,800+ without fixing the gas leak… So all this to be said, if you want to be charged $800 to have your walls torn up and not diagnose the source of your gas leak, this is the company to call….
We have been using RS Andrews now for quite some time and we are very happy with their service. Johnathan has been our technician every time and we highly recommend him. Thank you RS Andrews for your service.
I contacted RS Andrews to get a quote on replacing my 24-year-old furnace. Amber showed up on time and was very professional. She explained the replacement options and the new requirements for correctly venting a gas furnace. She was able to answer all my questions and describe the next steps for the replacement. The replacement cost was more than I was expecting, but I know that RS Andrews does good work, so I went with them.
