I am from outside the area of PDX and had contacted several shops to do a pre-purchase inspection on a car that was for sale near their shop. PDX was by far the most prepared to have a dialog with me about what is and is not included in the inspection, how much it would cost including some assuredly tests I wanted done. The scheduling was easy, the communication was great. After the inspection I received email with a very clear checklist report depicting the condition of the car and any concerns the mechanic discovered. We a very helpful phone conversation about the report where John answered every question I had and he made reasonable recommendations based on what they saw. Plus, John simply gave me his opinion of the car which was really great since I could not be there to appreciate the way you feel about a car when inspecting it. Excellent service and communication. Highly recommend. The price of the service was more than fair and cane in under the originally quoted price.
Once again another great experience at PDX Automotive. Went in for my 75K service on my CX-5 and saved some money because they checked the spark plugs and determined they did not need to be replaced! What a pleasure to do business with this shop.

I requested an appointment and within the week my car was repaired! I thought my car was done for but they found the issue in little over an hour and now it's back to normal. They have reasonable prices and respectful staff.
I’ve always had a great experience with PDX Automotive! Both their work and communication is top notch! I know that they will clearly explain what’s going on, what needs fixing, what does not need fixing, and why. Best service, hands down. When I found PDX automotive, many years ago now, I was looking for a new shop because every time I took my car in to my old shop, I always left feeling like they thought my car was less than worthy of their time and I always felt talked down to, something I find all too common as a women in these spaces. PDX Automotive is the perfect antidote to those previous experiences! Their shop is a place where I feel both my car and I are treated with respect and care. I cannot sing their praises more highly!
