My husband and I went to the Grand Concourse for Valentine’s Day and could not have been more happy with our meal and server! Understandably, it was a busy holiday, so we waited at the bar for an extra 30 minutes past our scheduled reservation. During that time I had a delicious espresso martini and my husband had a beer. Once we were seated our server took excellent care of us and ensured we got our food quickly given our extra wait. We had the raw oysters, Cajun chicken tortellini, and the slow roasted prime rib. All of our food was DELICIOUS and we felt so full with the portion sizes that we had to take home leftovers. Not to mention the nostalgic environment of the old train station! So beautiful. While a bit pricy, I would say it is worth the price you pay. Overall, we had a great experience at the Grand Concourse, and would go back.
Went here for a dinner with my girlfriend and her friend on a Saturday night, this was a very very disappointing experience. Our waitress was very rude, untimely, and overall terrible. It took her 25 minutes to revisit us, and everytime we ordered a drink, appetizer, or bread it was minimal 25 minutes until she came back. She never apologized with how slow it was, and to make matters worse, they were out of prime rib on a Saturday night at 6 pm, and also wine choices as well. The food was average at best. I won’t be back due to the quality of what you get and the price that you pay. Service was poor. Food and drinks took forever to come out. Had a reservation and it took them 30 mins to sit us after our schedule time. Won’t be back. Seems as they rely on the atmosphere for traffic.

Absolutely delightful dining experience. The whole concept of a restaurant in an old train station is incredibly unique and makes for a visually extravagant vibe that keeps you enticed with its architecture. On top of the awesome atmosphere, the food is simply spectacular. I highly recommend the crab cakes, or any of their seafood options as they are incredibly fresh and well prepared. Nothing let me down and i was happy with the price to portion ratio. Great place to have dinner in the Pitt area.
Delicious food! From the bread to the dessert and everything in between! Drink were delicious! The atmosphere feels like walking into the early 1900's! I highly recommend!
An interesting mix of experiences in one - incredibly beautiful location and best lobster bisque + bread rolls I’ve ever had. The service was friendly but I hate to say “amateur.” Reservation for 7:45, weren’t taken until closer to 8, things happen and not too big of a deal. Waiter took our drink orders (and appeared to write them down), came back 10 minutes later apologizing saying he forgot what our orders were. My drink (the mocktail “Desert Rose”) took 15+ minutes to get because they couldn’t find the right kind of glass I guess? Didn’t look anything like it did on the menu and didn’t taste anything like you would expect it to based on the destruction. They were gracious and replaced my drink for me with something else. We both ordered the filet mignon and lobster - the steak knives and butter were not brought out with them and arrived several minutes later. The filet mignon tasted more like an average steak, not a filet mignon, and the lobster was tough/chewy. The potatoes it came with were okay at best. Also since it’s a wedding venue - the music is SO LOUD it feels like you are at the wedding! They should soundproof that area, you can barely hear the person you’re next to at times. Absolutely stunning building, but overall disappointing for the price to not match the quality of the food and service.
