We had a great experience at the Indianapolis zoo! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The have a dolphin show that is totally worth seeing, you can feed flamingoes and birds and stingrays and a few more if you pay a separate fee or get the explorer wristbands like we did. It is an extremely clean place, there's lots of animals to see and I love that they even have an ocean section there as well. It's like going to a small aquarium and zoo at the same time. Just a tip, if you buy the cups there they will let you refill them at the cafe. We went on a very hot day so the animals weren't as active and the tickets are kind of pricey but it's a big place so I'm sure it takes a lot of money to run it. I would definitely go back, maybe on a cooler day next time 🙂 my youngest son was excited about the red panda they had. The gibbon monkeys and the orangutans are comical to watch. We love this place❤️❤️❤️
I loved this zoo. Its not huge, but its packs a lot in. The chimpanzee exhibit is the best I've ever seen anywhere. It looks like the orangutan exibit is also super amazing. They have lots of opportunities to feed animals. Lots of cool shows. It was also in walking distance of my hotel and the downtown area. The train is kind of a let down. You dont see any animals, its just a train ride. I kind of expected it to give new and better angles of some of the exhibits

Great zoo! I love that the Orangutans can climb on the catwalk high above the public! Well maintained and staffed, providing a great experience for families to enjoy seeing the animal life. Loved seeing the monkeys and giraffes up close! Recommend! #funwithmarkandjoni
It was a wonderful experience, full of many exotic animals that were fun to see. My favorite part was the stingrays because I could touch them and it felt so cool. My other favorite part was The kangaroos because I’ve always wanted to see them in real life. there were so many different types of animals that were so cool to see in person. this is a wonderful place to go to with your family or with your friends. This zoo is one of the best ones ever invented.
I was amazed at how much room the animals had to walk around and live in, which as an animal lover I appreciate. We saw multiple kind workers tending to the animals living spaces. Many things to do here and look at. Took a couple hours. Totally recommend the dolphin show! Definitely in the top 5 zoos I have been to. (Although we had many monkeys try to throw lettuce at us...)
