Second time staying here, the views are immaculate. Got a free upgrade, the breakfast is a simple hotel breakfast but the views are great on the 40th lounge area. It’s a boutique hotel, only one floor and lake views are great, last time I had views of the Willis tower and that was great too. The price beats so many other hotels and airbnbs, while it’s not anything crazy it’s so affordable
Keep this a secret. The hotel is fabulous. Built for visiting CEOs to the financial district it has quiet halls, spacious rooms and views to die for. It's quiet and walkable to many sites from Union station to the art museum. Located on the loop.
It’s an older hotel and can be quite the maze to enter, which could also make individuals feel a bit safer and secure. There’s an athletic club a bit outdated, but it is a nice feature and the room was spacious. The bed was comfortable and I had a great view. Unfortunately, as I saw on an earlier review after I had already booked a hotel, there is a random inexplicable charge on my account and I was unable to get anyone on the phone. considering I didn’t park at the hotel, I didn’t use anything in the mini fridge, nor the wine, and I was checked out on time. I am baffled as to what this charge could possibly be. It Looks as though there is a facility fee to use an outdated property with little to no amenities. The front desk didn’t disclose this information and joyfully exclaimed on the phone that this is their version of a resort fee… the property isn’t worth an additional 15 dollars let alone 28. I wouldn’t recommend the property, you can spend your money elsewhere. —-

Lovely hotel in a great location. Very easy to walk to main train station with city lines and metro. Short walk to millennium park and nearby galleries and Riverwalk. As mentioned in other reviews, the entrance is inside 425 financial building. Elevator up to the 39th floor and then transfer to another elevator up to 40. Front desk staff are very helpful in this but it can be tricky first time in. Great views from the rooms and a nice help yourself style continental breakfast.
Kinda scared to leave to good of a review, this place must stay protected!! lol! Definitely a hidden gem, nicest hotel I’ve stayed in so far in Chicago, the view is unbeatable.
