The Dayton Walk of Fame is a quick and easy stop that adds a nice bit of local history to a casual stroll, with plaques set right into the sidewalk honoring 135 local citizens (and growing!) from Paul Lawrence Dunbar to Erma Bombeck to Charles Kettering and of course the Wright Brothers. It sits along West Third Street in the Wright-Dunbar neighborhood, right near the Wright Cycle Company buildings and the Aviation Heritage Visitor Center, so it's easy to pair with other nearby stops. It's simple but well done, and the mix of people represented makes it fun to slow down and read a few as you go, a nice little dose of Dayton pride tucked into an easy walk.
