Convenient and fast. The team at Scott’s took great care of my older Toyota SUV with a front suspension rebuild of bushings, bearings, control arms, drive axle, and hub. They easily beat the dealer on their estimate, and were able to get the work done right away over the weekend. They were up-front about the costs, and carefully explained what was needed. They were communicative and followed up. It still seemed like a lot to pay for labor on a job that was completed in a day, but they did the job quickly and provided a loaner at no extra charge. They also didn’t charge for an evaluation. Really pleased with the convenience and transparency for this bigger job getting done quickly, and the service that came with it.
Great place. Responsive, fast, and efficient. Gives out great deals too! Charged me $1100 for spark plug replacement, $130 for oil change, and $850 for brake pads. They also offer shuttles to and from the shop. Very convenient!

Probably won’t come back here. The employees there were nice and explained the issues and told me the diagnostic to assess the issue would be $661…very arbitrary but okay. Was quoted almost $4000 for fuel injector repairs and a new battery related to a cylinder 2 misfire. I don’t doubt that the diagnostic is incorrect but to say $4000 in a recession is wild to me. I like to consider multiple opinions before deciding on one and received other quotes from independent auto shops and another that my mom and I have used frequently in the past. With their recommendations based on the diagnostic given by Scott’s Auto, I was quoted significantly less for the same work. Found the price too be insanely high for a fuel injector leakage and brand new battery. I planned to just pay for the diagnostic and get my keys to my car to go somewhere else, when the GM noticed I was taking my business elsewhere and decided to “negotiate” a price. We went from almost $4000 to $3000…wow, such a difference. I ended up leaving my car there another day since they were closing and they clearly didn’t want me to go anywhere. I enlightened and still went to just pay the diagnostic and get my keys. I told them of the other quotes and they seemed surprised by the difference in price themselves. I did research on my end and found that the pricing for parts and labor should have not been that much. I was assured that they were trying to prioritize my safety, etc. for doing the work but all I kept thinking in my head was that if it’s such a dire need why aren’t you all paying for it then? I don’t know, I feel as though the price gauging is extremely absurd and shameful. This place continues to give mechanics a bad rep similar to car salesmen in my opinion.
Everyone at Scott’s Automotive was great to work with. Very professional and unlike many other automotive repair places, they were honest and willing to help to make sure my vehicle was well taken care of. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend for others.
Hands down best auto repair business I’ve found in Houston. Military family and have lived in 8 states in the past 18 years…Scott’s is the best auto shop I have entered! Leo is knowledgeable and polite, he is a gem of of an employee.
