1 Hotel Seattle is a new fave for me! We arrived at about two in the morning after a delayed flight and were delighted for someone hustling over to grab the door for us and the warm clean earthy welcome of the decor was the perfect way to start our experience at the hotel. Earthy textures and colors and finishes everywhere, including lots of live plants. It reminded me of my childhood life at the beach, only fancier! Very earthy and welcoming from the moment I stepped in. The front desk staff was kind and informative. Everything was beautiful, thoughtfully laid out, with all the amenities I could need. The bathtub! The bed and pillows were divine. I lounged in bed off and on the entire day! This is my go to hotel for every future visit to Seattle! The restaurants are fabulous too, and Whole Foods is literally steps away for any little things she might've forgotten or if you want some fresh flowers in your room like I did.
It is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Loved the overall vibe of the hotel with all the plants and natural decor. However, the service was a bit lacking for the price point. Valet said they would charge our car, but didn’t. So we tried messaging in their app-no response. Finally got the car charged on the third try with their text option. Departure day our room keys stopped working prior to check out. The first replacement keys didn’t work either. Also, in room dining ends pretty early imo, at 10pm. So, overall some things to work on service wise but a nice place.

TL;DR: the hotel was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and the location is great. But the service and communication was far from 5-star. Stayed here for 3 nights while we were getting our apartment ready. On our first night, while taking a shower, the electricity in the bathroom was out for no reason (not using hair dryer or anything), the espresso maker was also faulty with error light blinking. Notified the front desk the next morning. Upon return, the bathroom electricity issue was fixed, but the coffee maker was still faulty and no one offered any solution. On the day of checkout, we left a bag of homemade pastry in the mini fridge that our friend gave us before our move to Seattle. We called the front desk as soon as we realized and they said they would reach out to the housekeeping team and get back to us right away. Long story short no one called us until we reached back out the second day, and this time they did call back within 30m, but told us anything left in the room was discarded. I personally feel that they have a lot to work on in regards to service and communication. A lot of what I’m feeling could have been addressed much much better with very little effort. For the coffee maker issue, if it’s not something they can easily fix, they could have offered some drink vouchers at their restaurant so their guests can still get coffee and feel taken care of. For anything left in the room, a quick phone call to confirm before simply discarding anything with great sentimental value would have been an easy and low-effort gesture. These two examples make me feel that their staff just don’t really care and can’t really provide the warm & hospitality you would typically get at a 5-star hotel.
Amazing place to stay, will come back to it every time in Sea. From the moment we walked in, this hotel made an impression. The decor and overall atmosphere are absolutely stunning—every space feels thoughtfully curated, with a beautiful design aesthetic that balances elegance and comfort effortlessly. The rooms were impeccably clean and incredibly well-designed, with a clear attention to detail that made the stay feel elevated and relaxing. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Every interaction felt warm and genuine, and the team went out of their way to offer thoughtful recommendations for things to see and do around the area, which made our experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to David in the lobby—he was consistently welcoming, always smiling, and went above and beyond to make guests feel at home. It’s rare to come across that level of hospitality, and it made a lasting impression. Overall, an exceptional stay. This is the kind of place you look forward to returning to.
Absolutely amazing. The hotel was recently renovated and you can tell. Everything is nice and new. We stayed in a junior suite and it was great. But it wasn't just the room that made this place great, it was the staff. We went out to Seattle to get away for a couple days for my birthday and my wife called ahead and spoke with an Ellie about them having a small chocolate treat in our room and Ellie went way above and way beyond. She had chocolate covered strawberries, macaroons, and a specialty chocolate that was coated to look like one of the famous Chihuly glass balls; all of which was made by their in house team. When we stopped at the front desk to meet Ellie she seemed very happy to have been a part of the birthday celebrations and the front desk staff wished me a happy birthday each time we stopped down there, showing they had a great CRM system in place to keep track of guests needs. This property and these people definitely earned the Michelin Key award that they so deservedly received.
