Took my Saab here to diagnose and fix a no start issue. The car died on me on the highway and I saw nothing but good reviews from this shop. Dropped it off and he diagnosed it as a fuel pump issue. Paid him $1500 to change my fuel pump (which was already ridiculous) when the previous owner had already installed a new fuel pump. Paid him and he left my key somewhere so there was no interaction. Drove my car around the block and during the drive it died just like it did on the highway. Had to push it back, and let him know. He then diagnosed it as a wiring harness sitting on my downpipe that got burnt up. Daniel then didnt even replace the harness, he just taped it up so it would work and charged me an extra $200. In total I paid $1700 for a burnt harness. When it came time to contacting him about being able to pick my car up the second time I dropped it off, he never even answered. I had to constantly call him everyday, eventually I just showed up during his hours of operation and requested my keys. He acted like he did me a favor only charging me $200 to tape up my harness. Would not recommend taking, please browse your other options before going here. 0 communication and he acts like hes better than you.
I had such an incredible experience with Daniel taking care of my car. Changed my battery, rotors, and brake pads. He was kind, witty, and a straight shooter which is what you want when dealing with cars. For sure worth checking out for your European car

Very efficient! I had a bad oil leak that BMW told me would cost $5200.00. I took it to GEAR and he fixed it for less than a fraction of what they wanted to charge me! Also, it was done the same day. 🤷🏽♂️
Let me start by saying you are NOT going to find another person as passionate and as knowledgeable about vehicles then Dan. He’s taking my vehicle and done a complete inspection repaired multiple issues, and suggested some amazing additions. I could not be happier. Dan has really done an amazing job! “ I will be back “ and it might sound crazy but I look forward to it! But in all seriousness, if you have any type of vehicle issue, don’t hesitate to call and believe it will be worth the wait if any.
Take a look at the silver X5 below. Looks nice, right? WRONG. It is cursed by the Lord Satan himself. The only reason it is not slowly grinding itself into the 9-Hells is Dan and the gang at GEAR are fighting it tooth and nail. Dan has managed to sluice out every squeak, rattle and moan this 12 year old Bavarian nightmare makes. I am happy to report that currently the beast is idle after Dan has spent many hours(hours at half the price of the BMW dealership) replacing nuts, bolts and bearings. This shop is great. It is a real throw back to how car repair places used to be. Dan gives you a price and if that price is going to go up he lets you know before things get to deep. 5 Stars, everyone be more like Dan.
