We came in for one night to stay at Easton. Our room looked nice when we walked in. Although after a closer look we noticed it to be quite dated and not as clean as we would have liked. There were dust bunnies on the shelves in the bathroom and the carpet was definitely not clean! Unfortunately, they have very outdated TVs. We were excited to stream our favorite show before falling asleep only to find out they do not have smart TVs! How can you charge this price and not have a smart TV? Also, it took us about 20 minutes to just turn it off. The remote control did not work properly. It’s very nice that they offer a make up mirror in the room however, it is at least 15 years old I would guess. The lighting in the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. I had to take the mirror and get ready out by the window. The service at the front desk was top-notch! We had a drink at the bar that evening and the service there was Great! Also, the gentleman working the entranceway were friendly and helpful. So All and all the service was great! The building is beautiful! The location is amazing! It just needs some major upgrades to be charging that price. We were very disappointed. We would’ve stayed another night but we could not deal with our room. I probably would have not put this on Google if they would’ve asked me how my day was via email… This was the only way to express the concerns that we had. I really don’t like giving bad reviews. However, I think this room needed some tender, loving care/upgrade upgrades.
I had such an awesome time! My first time in Ohio. I'm shouting out Porter the bartender. He was such a beautiful soul. Very warm. I'm also giving flowers to Mikey, that omelette was on point! The staff in general was so nice. It's great to see customer service ain't dead yet, it's still alive and well in Columbus Ohio at the Hilton😊

I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could. For the past two days, I had been trying to arrange a day-use stay. I called ahead and explained that I needed an early check-in and planned to leave around 5:00 PM the same day. The first representative told me that wouldn’t be a problem, said the earliest check-in available was around 9:00 AM, and confirmed I could leave around 5:00 PM. The next day, I called again just to confirm everything. I was told the exact same thing, was given a price, and was advised to come in the following day to complete the reservation. When I arrived that evening, after being busy all day, the front desk employee (I believe her name was Halila) made absolutely no effort to help. She didn’t offer any alternatives or try to find a solution. She simply told me they don’t offer that service, that check-in is at 4:00 PM, and that early check-in before then wasn’t possible. The issue isn’t that early check-in wasn’t available. The issue is that I was given completely different information twice over the phone, wasted my time coming to the hotel, and then received zero customer service when I got there. I was looking for a relaxing place to clear my mind and enjoy a different kind of day, but Hilton gave me no options and showed no willingness to help. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t stay here, even if it were free. I’ll be looking for another hotel in Columbus that values clear communication and customer service.
Porter and Audra were the best crew and associates behind the bar I’ve had in over a years travel at Hilton properties. Their etiquette and hospitality were over the top. I wish more places I go had people that cared like them.
After walking in and being greeted at the desk with Sandra’s beautiful, smiling her beautiful energy I walked away so happy to spend 2 nights in the Hilton. Her kindness and energy is infectious and so refreshing. This woman needs a raise and a reward! 🩷
