We had a new roof put on our house and garage (from hail storm) and new gutters and window trim, etc. Big City Construction work crew were very professional, polite, hard working on stripping, shingling our house and garage, installing new gutters, etc. They cleaned up very well when they were done. They did an awesome job. Thank you Rafael Viquez you did a awesome job in taking care of everything with our home insurance. From start to finish. We didn't have to do anything ourself. Rafael said he would take care of everything and that is just what he did. We would highly recommend Big City Construction and Rafael. Thank you all for your hard work.
We did not hire this company, but our neighbors used them for a roof and garage project, and unfortunately our experience as the adjacent property owner was very disappointing. On the first day of construction, the crew used part of our lawn to store their materials without any prior notice or permission. One of the workers was also lounging on our grass and landscaping (we have Ring screenshots of this). My husband had to address this behavior through our Ring camera, at which point the individual moved but it should never have happened in the first place. We attempted to contact the company multiple times (three calls over three days) and never received a response. The lack of communication and accountability was frustrating. Our neighbor ultimately had to step in, communicate with the crew, and apologize on their behalf. We understand that construction projects can impact neighboring homes, but basic respect, communication, and professionalism should be expected. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

Tom Murphy was honest and transparent during the entire roof estimation process. The process was seamless and the quality of work was extraordinary. I highly recommend Tom and his crew.
I used Big City Construction for a brick job for a 12 units building and my point of contact was Miguel. I couldn't have been happier. Their price was almost half of all the other estimates that I received, the crew was amazing and the quality of the work is outstanding. They finished the job fast so I can go along with the roof repair and were carefully to wrap and protect the roof during the rain. Excellent job guys!!!
We had an excellent experience with Big City Construction. Rafael came out to assess the condition of our roof and went above and beyond, even battling with our insurance company to make sure the damage was covered. Once everything was approved, Miguel and his crew arrived and worked like clockwork—his team moved in unison, stayed professional from start to finish, and put our roof back together flawlessly. Before choosing Big City Construction, I did my research and learned the owner has been in business for nearly 30 years. That experience really shows in the quality of their work and customer care.
