We enjoyed a fun evening at Stir this week. We enjoyed the Tuna Bite Appetizer and the Whipped Feta for apps! Both were very tasty! I had the Mahi tacos as my entree and it was delicious and plenty of food for my main. My husband enjoyed the steak bowl, but did add sriracha and soy sauce for the missing *kick.* They did a great job on our drinks even with some off menu requests. Crème Brûlée for dessert was a good choice. Enjoyable overall, but giving it a 4 (really like a 4.3) as it missed just a little pizzazz that we find in many other Greenville restaurants.
Customer service was excellent! Our server was amazing and was there whenever we needed her. (I am so sorry I forgot her name as I am writing this review 4 days since going and have been to two other restaurants afterwards; I think it's Karly/Karli) If I am correct she was amazing! The drinks, appetizers, entree's AND Eggnog creme brulee were sooooo.good! 10/10 and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location and sent my family who was visiting from Atlanta the next and they loved it too! Great job from their entire team, we were not disappointed on any level of service! Thanks again Karly/Karli!

We went to STIR for Queens Feast week. Honestly it was our best experience in three years. Madison was a great server and navigated us through the menu flawlessly. The spicy tuna bites and whipped feta all had unique flavor profiles that gave us unexpectedly good vibes. The steak frites with Parmesan truffle fries were on point. Not too much truffle and the Sriracha steak sauce was unique and well plated. The crème brûlée had a lemon oil infusion that made the crackle crust delightful. We will be back. Go!
Dining here tonight was an absolute delight. Booking a reservation a week ahead was a smart move, as the place was buzzing with activity. As someone who tends to be a bit picky with food, I was pleasantly surprised everything we ordered was spot-on. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, and the cocktails were expertly crafted, each sip just as enjoyable as the last. The combination of a lively atmosphere, attentive service, and high-quality food made the evening truly memorable. This spot definitely exceeded my expectations, and I’ll be returning soon.
I visited Stir with my family to celebrate my birthday, which made the overall experience even more disappointing. I ordered oysters with prosecco, an iceberg wedge salad, and a tuna poke bowl. The poke bowl was frankly unacceptable: the rice was clearly old - cold, clumped together and hard, as if it had been cooked one or two days earlier and forgotten in a fridge. That’s not acceptable for a dish where rice is the foundation. The prosecco was equally disappointing - flat and lifeless, with none of the freshness or bubbles you would expect, especially when paired with oysters. The so-called iceberg wedge salad deserves special mention. It was literally half a head of cabbage placed on a plate with a minimal drizzle of sauce. Not chopped, not marinated, no seasoning, no effort - just a raw chunk of cabbage masquerading as a dish. To make matters worse, service was slow at the end of the meal. We had to wait an unreasonable amount of time just to get the attention of our waitress to ask for the check, which only added to the frustration. Overall, the food quality and service were far below expectations and completely inappropriate for a birthday celebration. This was not an experience I would choose to repeat.
