Very friendly and inviting at first. After scans, reccomendations are to coerce you into paying exuberant fees for services. If you refuse after financial thug and discount offers, the warm atmosphere goes cold very quickly. I stuck to my regular dental cleaning which was done so fast, less than 15 mins: some scraping and flossing. The service was not worth paying dental insurance to receive. I read the low comments after the experience and should have checked those first because my experience was similar to most.
I had an excellent experience with Northeast Dallas Dentistry from start to finish. I needed to have a tooth removed and replaced, and the entire process was handled professionally and with great care. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly, answer my questions, and make sure I was at ease throughout the procedure. What could have been a stressful experience ended up being much smoother than I expected. I highly recommend Northeast Dallas Dentistry to anyone looking for quality dental care. Their team truly goes above and beyond for their patients. 10/10 experience!

I’ve been coming here for over 5 years, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a better dental experience than I have with Dr. Santillan. Every visit feels personal—she always takes the time to ask how I’m doing and never makes the appointment feel rushed. She answers all of my questions thoroughly and consistently provides the support and reassurance I need. The front office staff is always extremely kind and professional. They follow up before appointments to make sure I have all the necessary information and to confirm everything is set, which I really appreciate. Recently, Maria has been my dental hygienist, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. She was very thorough and took the time to share helpful resources and tips to improve my dental hygiene. Thank you to the entire staff for always being so generous, welcoming, and helpful. I truly appreciate the level of care I receive every time I visit
Red flag!!! I visited this dental clinic for a routine cleaning a few weeks ago, and it turned into one of the most uncomfortable healthcare experiences I've had. After a brief examination, the dentist told me I needed a deep cleaning and quoted me around $1,000. The price immediately raised concerns, so I asked if I could simply have a regular cleaning that day and think about the deep cleaning later. I was told it was "too late" and that I would need to come back another day. After doing my own research and seeking additional information, I felt a regular cleaning was appropriate for my situation. So when I returned, I informed the front desk that I only wanted a standard cleaning. The response surprised me. I was asked whether my decision was because of the cost. When I said I only wanted a regular cleaning, the price for the deep cleaning suddenly dropped by 50% on the spot. That alone made me question how the original treatment plan and pricing had been determined. The most disappointing part came afterward. When the dentist entered the room, she appeared visibly unhappy and told me, "I'm only doing a regular cleaning for you this time. Next time, I won't." She then added, "I'll be very fast." And she wasn't kidding. The cleaning was completed in less than 15 minutes. It was rushed, extremely uncomfortable, and far more painful than any cleaning I've ever had before. Before I knew it, I was told the procedure was finished and I could leave. The sudden 50% discount, the dismissive attitude after I declined treatment, and the rushed cleaning made the entire experience feel less like healthcare and more like a sales operation. I left questioning whether the recommended procedure was truly necessary or simply the most profitable option. I will not be returning.
Would not recommend going here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Facility is clean and organized. But the out-of-pocket cost is too high even if you have dental insurance. Unless you got money like that, like over $1000, I wouldn't suggest this place. I mean who has money like that? Their out-of-pocket is more than all of the doctor visits from last year. The experience was like going to a car dealership. They try to scare you and get you to do something expensive, not necessarily, so they can increase their bottom line. It's 100% profit-motivated business. I won't be coming here again. And I won't even bother getting dental insurance for next year. What a waste of money dental insurance is. Just about all private dental clinics always try to overcharge you and try to squeeze as much money as possible from you. What a bad, disappointing experience.
