Everyone at Dayton Emergency dental was awesome. They took the time to explain and listen to everything I asked. I had a tooth pulled and it was taken care of in a timely manner. I would highly recommend using Dayton Emergency Dental going forward.

Very Disappointing Experience My spouse was in extreme dental pain and needed urgent care, so I searched for an emergency dentist and chose this office because “emergency” is literally in the name. I want to be fair and say that the staff was very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, it was the overall experience and business practices that left us extremely disappointed. After arriving, my spouse waited two hours before being seen. He was finally examined, but despite clearly explaining that he was in severe pain and wanted the tooth pulled, he was given a treatment plan to save the tooth instead. We were told that extracting the tooth would cost approximately $900, even after insurance, on top of the $195 we had already paid for the examination, also after insurance. After waiting two hours in extreme pain, paying $195 for the examination, and then being quoted another $900 for the extraction, what a complete waste of time and money. The part that really bothered us was feeling like his request and the urgency of his pain were not being heard. When you specifically search for an emergency dentist, you expect urgent care, clear communication, and transparency about what you're actually going to receive and what it will cost. While the staff was friendly, we felt the business practices were misleading and the overall experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I went in for an extraction, the dentist didn't pull my tooth he dug it out like a barbarian. Didn't clean out the socket after, and didnt suture the site. There was so much epinephrine in my block it didn't bleed so immediately developed a dry socket. Then 15 days post extraction a bone shard erupted from the extraction site. Now today 5 weeks later several more bone shards have erupted. I do not recommend going here for extractions. This dentist needs some ce on proper extraction techniques. Update I had another large piece of alveolar bone erupt from my extraction site 7 weeks post.
