Having stayed at multiple hotels in downtown Cincy, I was looking forward to experiencing the "luxury" of the Westin. That did not happen. The only good thing about this hotel is its central location and the great view of Fountain Square. Beyond that, it was a massive disappointment, especially for the price. For a hotel of this caliber, the lack of service was pretty sad. There was only one person at the check-in desk the entire time I was there. To make matters worse, the elevators were malfunctioning, so she spent half her time trying to reset key cards. Most guests took at least 20 minutes just to check in and were very annoyed. The rooms are outdated, but the maintenance issues were my bigger concern. After checking in, I noticed a steady stream of water leaking from the bathroom vent, which had already soaked all the towels and toilet paper. When maintenance came and removed the vent, water started gushing out. They stopped it eventually, but the damp walls proved they neglect these kinds of defects until someone complains. The next day, I went to the gym (directly above my room) and found the corner flooded and cordoned off so clearly they knew about a water problem. Lastly, the layout feels off. Because it’s embedded in a shopping complex/office building it lacks a dedicated, cohesive hotel lobby with amenities. At this price point, the value just isn't there and I would highly recommend staying at any of the nearby options like the Courtyard or the Hyatt instead.
My senior citizen parents booked a room three months in advance. Me and my partner confirmed their reservation in-person the day before. My parents arrived at the hotel and were informed they’d be staying at a different hotel nowhere near downtown without any communication prior to check-in time bc the Westin was overbooked (first by 20, later by 15 rooms). Staff was extremely rude with my parents as well as with my partner and I when we called ourselves. I wouldn’t recommend you or your loved ones stay here because you probably couldn’t if you tried, and you’ll regret it if you do.

I wanted to extend my compliments to Jovi at the front desk, whose incredible positive energy did not go unnoticed or unappreciated during my stay. I called down to the front desk this morning to ask if it would be possible to freeze some items I had on hand. She happily accommodated my request, and when I went to pick them up, she greeted me with the same smile and warm energy. Jovi is a wonderful asset to the Westin team, and I hope my compliments reach the right person through this review. Thank you for your kindness, Jovi!
For the rating, we were here for a training for 6 days. We were supposed to pay the $50 that goes against for damages, when we checked our bank account they charged us $146.00,when we called down to talk find out why, their response was due to the length of stay, but when the rooms were booked it said $50 deposit for the 6 day stay, and then it took 2 days to have house cleaning come and refurbished, and tidey up the room. They finally managed to get there on 6/24/2026 at 1:00 pm to tidey the room up. As for the view is good, security is acceptable, location not bad, close to a lot of things and all in walking distance, examples Reds, Bengals stadium. WE will see, I usually don't make to many bad comments, but being lied to, slowness of getting the room tidey up and the constant asking for bathroom linen every day, not good for a 4.5 star hotel. Thank you.
This hotel is ROUGH! I was here for a work trip for an entire week. The only highlight is the lovely hotel bartender who was such a joy to chat with. The lowlights included: broken A/C on first arrival, rude employees in the attached coffee shop and broken espresso machine there as well, and infrequent room cleanings. The attached restaurant (McCormick) was really NOT great and was also overpriced. I think the most frustrating thing about the stay was that the housekeeping staff refused to leave enough bath towels.
