Their specialization in disability insurance claims enable them to provide priceless (at a reasonable rate) and unmatched legal representation and advice. I was able to get my long term disability claim approved on the first try, from an insurance company notorious for denying initial claims (even strong ones). From the very first call, Angela (Intake Specialist) was patient, compassionate and thorough in documenting my case details. Given the required claim submission timeline, she was able to coordinate the signing of a fair contingency agreement and involved Malorie (Legal Assistant) and Darrin (Attorney) in a matter of days. Malorie (Legal Assistant) was considerate, clear and timely in communication with me and the insurance company, before and after the claim was approved. She was always an email or call away to help with whatever I needed for my claim. Darrin (Attorney) is very knowledgable about my disability, which helped with putting together the strong claim. His empathy and keenness to answer all my questions regarding the uncertainties of the process, alleviated a lot of my worries during a hard time in life. I strongly recommend Roy Law Group! I turned to them when I had a Long COVID disability claim denied, and they were the only firm that would take the case. They filed an appeal of the denial, and when the appeal was denied, they filed a case, and I was satisfied with the outcome. I worked with Darrin (lawyer) and Holly (legal assistant), and I can't recommend them highly enough. They were knowledgeable, persistent, and personable. I always knew what they needed from me, and always knew the status of the case.
The Roy Law Group played a huge role in helping me navigate the complexities of obtaining Short Term Disability compensation. Not only did they ensure my employer was compliant with providing me the proper documentation to contest a denied STD claim, but their expertise and persistence in communication with the STD provider and my employer ended up overturning the decision to deny me the STD benefits that I deserved.
