Stayed here while visit family on the west side. What a great location: zero traffic on the 275 from the airport at 5p, close to family, Mt. Airy, downtown, restaurants, bars and even some quirky neighborhood festivals. Staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. The whole hotel was low key and quiet. which was remarkable considering it looked completely full. The great room on the backside is a good way to start your morning with coffee!
I stayed here May 14-21. It was a last-minute stay due to a death in the family. I got there late that night, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and very clean. Each morning the crew that served breakfast was kind and courteous. Many mornings they were very busy and they made sure all there were treated well. My overall experience here was excellent. I highly recommend this location and will definitely stay there again when I visit family and friends.

Myself and our group was there for bowling. The hotel is very clean with a wonderful staff. The rooms are very rooming. The breakfast was good. Dining area very clean. General Manager EJ the best. He was there to greet our group when we arrived. I would recommend this location if you ever in Cincinnati. I will be setting up my rooms for my group for next year. Oh and it's around all the restaurants and stores. Bowling alley only 8 mins away. Thanks EJ
I had a fantastic experience at the Holiday Inn Express Cincinnati West! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this newly renovated property is focused on comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was very clean, fresh, and comfortable, with cozy beds, crisp linens, and great in-room amenities like a microwave, fridge, and large TV. The renovations really show and give the hotel a modern, updated feel while still being warm and relaxing. One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the staff. The front desk team was absolutely amazing and incredibly accommodating with my service dog, which meant so much and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. Their professionalism, kindness, and understanding truly stood out. The breakfast host was also wonderful — friendly, attentive, and kept everything well-stocked and welcoming throughout the morning. Breakfast exceeded expectations with a nice variety of hot and cold options including waffles, eggs, oatmeal, pastries, coffee, and juices — a perfect start to the day. We also appreciated the great amenities, including free parking, reliable WiFi, a fitness center, and a well-maintained pool area. The hotel felt quiet, family-friendly, and very comfortable overall. If you’re looking for a clean, conveniently located, and welcoming hotel in Cincinnati with exceptional staff and great service, this is a fantastic choice. I would absolutely stay here again!
Sandra, the staff at the check in desk is always very pleasant and welcoming to us. We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express West several times. Other staff are great too, especially Mary in the breakfast room. She always makes us feel welcome, as though we were visiting her home and since she has been working there for 46 years, I guess it is her home !
