The food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put a lot of care into every plate. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a special night out. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made the entire experience even better. If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience with amazing food and a great ambiance, Chef’s Table is definitely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back!
Max ⭐️s for the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time! They checked all the boxes- from the food & drinks created by the award winning chef, to the service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
So we randomly walked into this restaurant yesterday after walking from the museum district in the rain (we were soaking wet and we weren't turned away). I wanted to treat my daughter to dinner and this was truly a treat. We didn't have a reservation, this is our first time in Houston. Everyone was great. Literally, Ricky greeted us as our server, he constantly checked on us and gave me his recommendations. JJ the manager stopped by and checked on us as well. The overall experience was a 10/10. The food was delicious and so were the drinks, watermelon infused water and passion fruit lemonade. My daughter had the mango lemonade. She enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms. I have the ceviche. I saw peri peri chicken but it wasn't served this day. I decided to try something different and it didn't disappoint. Next time I'm in Houston I'll definitely come back because this wasn't just about food but an experience that we truly enjoyed. Thank you for helping me create this memory with my daughter.

Here for the Houston restaurant week campaign. It was a my lavish decision but it was truly worthy. All 3 courses were impecable. Sautees calamari was the the best opening course. The South African Kingklip gave flaky texture but gentle covered in well-balanced lemon beurre blanc. And the nothing can beat passion fruit creme brulee. The waitress was very kind and friendly. This restaurant will be one of my choices for sure. Thank you.
The best overall restaurant experience I have had in memory. The service was excellent from the hostesses accommodation of a reservation blunder (on our part), Daniel as our culinary guide, to the chef/owner taking time to talk to us during our experience, and even the people simply keeping your infused water glass full knowing the menu, it was beyond fantastic. This is a South African inspired menu with regional options like impala, ostrich, and a plethora of other options and twists on traditional American steakhouse cuisines. We splurged and did the 6 course and wine experience and was not disappointed. I can say with confidence that a number of courses we tried was the best food I had ever had, like the shrimp, crab cake, kingklip, and lamb... simply amazing. The Kingklip was absolutely the best fish I have ever had in my life, bar none. Be prepared to spend ~100 per person and much more for the guided course options. But this is one of those experiences where I can say the price was worth it. We will be back.
