We had to stay here with my son's soccer team. I felt the price was pretty high. It's a nice area lots of stores and restaurants near by that was great. I would have to say over price I didn't like the that it took to long to check in they made it pretty difficult I understand that the card I was using was not in my name but I had all the documents stating I was authorized to use it. They made me feel super uncomfortable I had my mom on the phone as the card was hers but still they made it harder than it should have been. Then our room have cement in the tub. We stayed two nights we hard bo service to the rooms I asked for clean towels and toilet paper and we didn't receive any of it. The pillows and mattress are not a very cozy or comfortable I think I was expecting more for the high price. There was a lot of things in the bathroom that was not in good condition. It was very clean and everything is fairly new but I think I was expecting more since one they said it was a fairly new hotel and two the price is pretty high so I expected perfection I guess. The ironing board was hard to open and close.at first look it looks nice and fancy but the reality is quite different. The front desk personnel are not very welcoming they seem unhappy and mad. Not very approachable.
Here's a polished version that keeps the same message while sounding more professional and balanced: The hotel is located in a fantastic area with plenty of great restaurants and stores nearby. The neighborhood felt safe, and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not meet our expectations. Cleanliness was an issue, as the bathroom was dirty and the overall condition of the room felt neglected. The beds were old and worn out, making them uncomfortable. During our stay, the elevator was out of service, which was inconvenient, and there was constant noise from guests running and jumping in the room above us throughout the night. Parking was also a major challenge. There was essentially no available hotel parking, so we had to park at the movie theater in the same lot and hope our vehicle would not be towed. While the location was excellent, the hotel's condition and lack of amenities made for a disappointing experience.

The good: it’s clean, nice size rooms, walking distance to restaurants and grocery store, the lobby doesn’t smell of strong diffuser scents like most hotels! The icks: check in took a long time and they wouldn’t add my Marriott number to account so I can use the app for key, Right next to train tracks that can be loud at night, thin walls so I hear everyone driving by and walking (or kids running) down the halls, the parking lot is small and shared with other hotel and rarely any parking, my fridge and dishes were dirty with crumbs all over the fridge.
My extended stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Cincinnati Oakley has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with any Marriott property—and that’s saying a lot as a Titanium member who travels frequently. Let’s start with housekeeping—or the lack of it. I stayed for three weeks and saw housekeeping a total of three times. I called for service three nights in a row and was completely ignored. No follow-up, no communication, no resolution. One of the only times they actually showed up was on a Saturday—one of my only two days off—completely disrupting my rest. After repeatedly requesting service, being overlooked like this is unacceptable. The front desk experience is just as concerning. Staff are frequently absent, and when they are present, there’s little to no acknowledgment. No greeting when entering, no sense of professionalism—just an overall cold, disengaged environment. It feels like customer service is an afterthought here. What really pushed this experience over the edge was being told I couldn’t receive my rewards points because I booked through a third party. As a Titanium member, I’ve stayed at numerous Marriott properties and have never encountered this issue in this way. Instead of offering clarity or support, the response felt dismissive and inconsistent with Marriott’s brand standards. At this point, it’s not just about inconvenience—it’s about a complete breakdown in basic hospitality. Cleanliness, communication, and customer care have all fallen short. This location does not reflect the standards Marriott claims to uphold. I would strongly advise others—especially loyal members—to consider other options.
Newly updated modern hotel. Room didn’t have any signs of wear and tear on the room. It is located next to Oakley greens where music was definitely heard from your room at night. Did not receive the daily room service. Our room was not cleaned very well upon arrival.
