Overall, we had a very good experience with McVay. Our salesman, Bruce, was polite and highly knowledgeable about the specific AC unit our house needed. We really appreciated his no-pressure approach. He didn't use the aggressive sales techniques we experienced with other companies, such as 'buy today for a lower price' or focusing only on low monthly payments.The installation crew arrived on time, was professional, and finished the work exactly when promised. The new unit is working great, and we were very happy to have it up and running just before the heat wave.The only negative part of the experience was the paperwork and closing process. The workmen didn't bring any paperwork or a copy of the estimate with them. When they finished, they told us they needed two signatures on a cell phone—one to verify they arrived on time, and another stating the work was completed to our satisfaction. Signing on a cell phone was not a good option. The small print made it very difficult to read, and it didn't give us enough time to properly review what we were signing. It would be much better if they emailed a copy ahead of time to review, or brought a printed paper copy. Additionally, they left the AC manual booklet but did not fill out the dealer setup checklist. Having that checklist completed would have given us real peace of mind. As a '5-star' company, these professional details should have been taken care of.Aside from those final administrative issues, the actual equipment and installation quality were top-notch!"
Used them thru Lowe’s for A/C replacement. Timely, knowledgeable, Professional, and Friendly. They spent around 6-7 hours replacing a 20+ year old Rheem A/C unit, Lines, and Coil. Hauled away the old one. Made sure my furnace fired up back up, showed me what they replaced and explained the new safety features and warranty before leaving. I will be using them again this Fall (2026) to replace old furnace. The Installers did a great job (didn’t catch their names) John (friendly as well) handled my quote. All in all great company

The McVay professionals just finished a weeklong job installing a new system in our house and are very pleased with the level of workmanship every employee has shown. Purchase and installed new Bryant furnaces and heat-pumps. Pricing was similar to several well reviewed local companies - certainly competitive for the product received. 5* because everything went so smoothly. There were a few small set-backs but the installers were very transparent and kept me informed. Installers were very professional and courteous. They took the time to place mats everywhere they walked, definitely treated the inside of my home respectfully, which I always appreciate. Honestly, left my HVAC/Furnace room cleaner than it started (sorry!). Its been a few weeks and the system works great.
