Second time that we have worked with Thompson. They couldn't be any more amazing. They were prompt in getting us scheduled. Justin P came out on time, introduced himself, walked me through possible scenarios that may be causing our issues. He took time to thoroughly explain what the issue was, gave me options, and fixed what was able to be fixed that day. The team is drawing up an estimate for any further fix that would be an option for our issue as well. Justin gave multiple options of what we could do, and what would make the most economic sense. Payment was easy, provided a credit card, and they were able to run it within minutes. Pricing was fair, and broken down easily. I would recommend their services to all of my friends and family for all their electrical needs.
This was the best experience on one of the worst days. We unexpectedly lost all power on a 95 degree day. I called for service after hours, (had to wait for Ohio Edison to come and determine it was on my side of the transformer box). On call technician arrived within 30 minutes of my call and could not have been nicer. It was determined that there a break in one of my “phase” lines and the technician got to work. He called in reinforcements and both gentleman got to work digging. It was determined that the fiber optic company that was out in December cut one of my main electric lines when they were digging to install fiber optic cable for my road. The line literally exploded underground. They also checked the other line while they had it dug up, and found that the other line had a “nick” in it and would have eventually done the same thing. 2 workers, 2 trucks, and almost 5 hours later in the insane heat it was all repaired. We are truly so grateful. They couldn’t have been nicer and we found the price to be reasonable fir what the job entailed. Thank you guys so much.

Blocked my driveway for hours. Employees are literally sitting in the trucks on their phones. As of writing this theyre still blocking me in. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Absolutely disrespectful. Edit: What was ridiculous was the fact that they not only blocked my driveway but the entire road for hours with no notice. I missed a doctor's appointment that day due to your companies negligence to follow the law and respect the communities that theyre working on. Next time I see you guys parked illegally infront of my driveway I'll be contacting the police. I do hope this a learning lesson to follow local ordinances and to park legally.
After a terrible experience with another electrician who took my money and didn’t finish the job, I’m so thankful for Thompson Electric. Not only have they been incredibly professional and responsive, but now my house is finally safe. Every visit has been efficient, thorough, and well communicated. The final electrical project was installing two ceiling fans and adding outlets in two rooms of our 100-year-old home that previously had no electrical. I was fully preparing myself for major drywall damage and costly repairs. Kyle and Justin were honest from the beginning about setting expectations, explaining there could be damage while they worked to minimize it. I cannot say enough good things about these two. They took their time, worked carefully, and somehow managed to locate old hidden electrical behind walls and ceilings with almost no damage at all. The little bit that was necessary was patched so well you can barely even tell. Kyle, Justin, and every Thompson Electric electrician who has been part of this job has done an amazing job, and after everything we went through with the previous electrician, I truly can’t thank Thompson Electric enough.
Trent from Thompson Electric came out today to wire our electric heater for our garage and he did an outstanding job! He was super nice and his work was incredibly neat and tidy — their solution was far better than any other electricians we received quotes from, and they were also hundreds of dollars less expensive. Trent even went above and beyond to make the wiring seamless and clean. We’ve definitely found our new go-to electrician for all future projects.
