Been seeing Dr Scurlock for 10+ years and his staff has just become too rude and inflexible. I called ahead that I was running late for an appointment scheduled 2 months ago and 8 min after appt time they cancelled the appt. Will be looking for a new PCP.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Scurlock as my primary care physician since 2021, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received. He’s attentive, thorough, and genuinely listens to my concerns, always taking the time to explain treatment options clearly. When medication is needed, he’s thoughtful about prescribing the right solution. The entire practice runs smoothly. Everything from scheduling appointments to managing prescription refills is incredibly easy thanks to their app. The office itself is clean, welcoming, and efficient, and I’ve never had to wait long to be seen. I highly recommend Dr. Scurlock.

Great Experience, He listens, answers all of my questions with patience and always makes you feel comfortable and cared for. I would highly recommend him as Primary Physician.
Told him how much I had been struggling after the birth of my first child, he said "welcome to motherhood". Thankfully my OB/GYN treated me for my obvious Postpartum Depression. Told him my concerns about my family history with colon cancer and symptoms I was experiencing, he said "since it skipped your mother you don't need to be concerned". Thankfully my GI gave me a colonoscopy (at age 28) and removed several polyps. When my aunt told him she was having trouble speaking, he suggested she see a speech therapist. Less than a year later she was dead from ALS. He wants you in, and then out. He has no concern for the patient, and only does the least amount of work possible to keep his practice going. Find you a doctor that cares bc this one isn't it.
Dr. Scurlock is fantastic. I continue to drive 40 minutes from Marietta to see him. He is a great communicator, listener, and really cares about his patients.
