This is our absolute favorite getaway! We have always wished we stayed one more night because it’s so peaceful and wonderful! The staff is friendly, accommodating and kind. The amenities are top notch, the pool is never over crowded and the food is incredible! Complimentary coffee at Rusty’s every morning is such a simple touch but it goes a long way. Being able to have access to cold water and sunscreen poolside is such a thoughtful touch as well. Will continue to stay here time and time again.
stayed for a quick staycation! eli checked us in and he was very helpful, kind, and even gave us an upgrade! the room was so beautiful, very spacious and i’m inlove with the shower! we loved the pool as well, so far the best pool from the other resorts we’ve been to! i definitely wanna come back again, and to also try their restaurant,, btw i don’t want to forget to mention that they have different fitness classes everyday! that’s so cool!

Absolutely incredible stay! If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful location, I highly recommend this place. The pool is beautiful and relaxing, the staff are all wonderful and helpful, the views are breathtaking, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. Also, if you’re looking to book a conference here, I saw lots of them going on and they seemed extremely organized and on top of things The breakfast in the main restaurant at the hotel is phenomenal!
We stayed for a weekend staycation and had a wonderful time! I splurged on a mountain view room for my husband's birthday, and it was totally worth it. Our room was beautiful and spacious, and there was a cute patio with a beautiful view of camelback mountain and the golf course. The property was peaceful and had pretty desert landscaping. We spent most of our time at the Sunet Pool, which was peaceful and had ample seating. The main pool has more of a family/ party vibe with less open seating. The staff were all very kind. We loved Hearth 61 and the lounge as well; we didn't need to leave the property for anything. We also enjoyed the fitness classes which are included. Overall, we will definitely be returning!
Booked this resort through Chase for 2 nights. Drove there and to be honest, we got confused as to where the door is to the lobby. It gave us a bit of a rough start. We finally found the doors and the stress of finding the door all vanished by the warm welcome of the staff. Eli checked us in and he was personable. He told us everything we needed to know for our stay, even things that I wouldn't even know if the information was not supplied. Everyone from the pool attendant, bartenders and just random worker passing us by were really nice and polite. Service is 5/5. Then we got in our room. It was amazing. We had the pool view with 2 queen beds. The room is clean and spacious. The only downside is they didn't have a fridge in the room. They have a mini bar which can double as fridge but it is already full of things for sale so we didn't bother touching anything in it. There were magazines and books. The bathroom is spacious. The only things is, there is no dedicated bathroom - like with doors that can be locked. The shower area can be hidden using a curtain. I came here with my boyfriend and parents and to our surprise when we entered the room, the shower area is see through to the whole room. Thank goodness they put a curtain to hide it or else we would have needed another room! Temperature, it was hot outside but the AC is very good at cooling down the room quickly! Cleanliness and temperature are my 2 biggest concerns in a hotel room and Mountain Shadows checked both boxes. Location: What else can I say? Mountain Shadows live up to its name. We saw both Camelback Mountain and Mummy Mountain from the pool. It was a very relaxing stay because of the peace and quiet the location offers. Commercial area is 7-10 mins drive and we had dinner at Miel de Agave which was amazing. Pros: location, staff politeness, clean rooms, ample parking, relaxing pool Cons: full fridge in the room (no room for personal food), no slippers in room -- both not a big deal really Will stay here again for a staycation. Can't wait to be back soon!
