In my recent visit, Bright Smile‘s missed the goal of patient care, freedom of choice of treatment and good care of patient. Forcing patients into unwanted treatment is not healthcare. Developing a doctor patient relationship of trust, care and concern is good for both patient and doctor and enables a thriving practice. When I walked into the office and decline preventative dental x-rays due to an extensive family history of cancer, I was told I would not be seen if I declined the x-rays as the doctors license was more important than my health. I was also told that as medical professionals they would not be allowed to do anything that would threaten my health. This was shocking given what we have experienced in Covid. I was also told that as educated college professionals, they knew what they were doing. But it is practice, not college that develops skill and expertise. Sadly, I felt unseen, unheard, dismissed, intimidated, and inconvenienced. It was their way or the highway, unlike our previous good dentist. I hope this is a learning curve for them, and they will become an asset rather than a detriment to the neighborhood and their patients.
I’m very pleased with the care everyone in this office shows at every visit. The hygienists are thorough but very gentle. At my last appointment I saw Dr. Patel because the dentist I had seen previously has retired. I’m very happy with my experience and will continue using Dr. Patel and Bright Smiles for my future dental care.

I had an appointment this morning, and my anxiety got the best of me and I had a panic attack in the chair!! My hygienist was so wonderful and patient and helped me through it. Then the new dentist came is and he was equally wonderful!!! He made me feel calm and he let me know that he would do whatever he can to help me feel better about coming to see him. I feel much better about returning!!! The office has changed a lot in the past few months, it’s more relaxed and a lot more smiling from the staff!!! My family and I are happy with the new docs!!!
I need a lot of work done on my teeth. Dr. Patel was very kind and compassionate in explaining the priority we needed to do the work in and she kept asking if I had any questions. I was very relaxed the whole time and feel confident she will fix my teeth perfectly. The whole staff was great!
For years I have hated going to the dentist I'm very sensitive in my mouth. Hate metal instruments. No matter how nice a dentist or dental hygienist can be it's always been an issue for me. But the last couple of years since I've been going to this dentist, it has improved and now to the point my appointment yesterday went flawlessly timely and comfortably. I found the staff to be very kind gentle and respectful. Thank you.
