Dr. Maeder is one of those rare and exceptional physicians who looks at the big picture. I am 82 and she is a major reason I am living a fulfilling and secure life. When I have an issue, she does not just offer a quick fix. She analyzes my history, test results and other physicians' recommendations. She then includes me in her diagnosis. An additional benefit is that my children, who live out-of-town, have the peace of knowing I am getting outstanding medical care.
I love Dr. Maeder and feel she balance professionalism/ skillful practitioner with amazing bedside manner. She listens, engages easily and is very knowledgeable. I feel we have a partnership in my health and my input is as valuable as hers. She never makes you feel any question is not worthy of being asked. I trust she will always have my best interest at heart and her opinion matters to me- she is never rushed or makes me feel she does not have the time for me or my questions. At the time Dr.Maeder took over for my previous MDVIP physician, I was dealing with a difficult health issue. I was impressed by her picking up, without skipping a beat, addressing my health issues. She worked tirelessly seeing that, with consultations, my health issues resolved. So, for the last six years, I have been so grateful that she has been my physician. Her availability, her knowledge, her empathetic manner has guided me through my health issues. I am so happy with my membership in MDVIP because I know my health needs are their top priority.
Liz is always extremely attentive and interested. When faced with an unusual situation, she was vigilant about getting to the proper diagnosis and then referring me to an excellent specialist. She follows through on everything.
