My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights over Memorial Day weekend, and to say we were impressed would be an understatement. From the moment we pulled up until the moment we left, every employee we encountered was kind, professional, and welcoming. Our room was spotless and much larger than we expected, especially the bathroom. It also happened to be my birthday during our stay, and my wife had called ahead. The hotel surprised us with a cake waiting in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch. We were also celebrating our anniversary, and they had chocolate-covered strawberries waiting for us as well. We’re both fan sleepers, and when we asked, they even brought a box fan to our room without hesitation. It’s the little things like that that really made the stay special. As for the resort itself, it was absolutely beautiful. The property is huge, but everything is laid out so conveniently. The casino is connected to multiple restaurants, shops, and attractions, making it very easy to get around and enjoy everything the resort has to offer. And if you stay here, you absolutely have to visit the West Baden hotel. The dome is truly breathtaking and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Overall, it was an amazing couple of days and a trip we won’t forget. We can’t wait to come back.

However, it is about an hour and a half from the airport, and much of the hotel feels dated, which is understandable for a property over 100 years old. The service was decent, but nothing exceptional. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, both at the banquet events and in the restaurants. Overall, it was an average stay, and I would recommend eating elsewhere.

We stayed for three nights over the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful time. West Baden Springs Hotel is amazing! So beautiful and full of history. Loved going between the two resorts to enjoy all the pools, dining, the Casino.
We had a wonderful experience at French Lick Resort! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Michael, the night shift manager—he truly went above and beyond for us. We realized we needed swimsuits later in the evening, and he made sure we were able to get what we needed. Because of his help, we didn’t miss out on enjoying the pool that night. It’s rare to come across someone so willing to go the extra mile, and Michael made a lasting impression on our stay. We’ll definitely be back!
Amazing with a capital A! The historical building is a sight to behold. The information about the Hotel is interesting and the history is fascinating. Must I go on.... Well there is a number of fine places to eat in the premises and you can go swimming (4 pools to choose from). Go bowling or eat pizza and play pool or foose ball. You have enough bars around to drink yourself silly. The gym is awesome and you can go to the spa after a workout. Maybe you just want to sit in a rocking chair on the beautiful porch out front. People watching is classified as a sport for some.
