The ambiance of this restaurant is impressive from the moment you walk in. A massive open fire-pit kitchen dominates the space, and from most seats you can watch your meal being prepared. The chefs don’t just cook, they perform. Every movement feels intentional, almost theatrical. Despite the cost, we decided to lean fully into what this restaurant is known for: the grilled meats, strip steaks for me and salmon for my wife’s birthday. You can order sandwiches , but let’s be honest, the grilled meats are the feature here, so why order anything else? One of the most memorable moments was watching the chef pull a plank of wood from the fire pit with massive tongs, wave it through the air until the flames died down and it was left glowing, then place it on a plate and set a salmon steak directly on top. It was mesmerizing. I’ll admit, I don’t always love steak, so while I enjoyed the spectacle, my expectations were tempered. Then the food arrived, and everything changed. The cheddar biscuits came out first and were excellent. The sides were delicious. Then the steak arrived, cooked to absolute perfection. It was easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. This is the kind of dining experience I’d expect to find in New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles, yet it’s right here in downtown Columbus. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great ambiance paired with truly outstanding food.

Loved the atmosphere, the service, and the drinks. Was significantly disappointed by the food. We got the eggplant fries, biscuits, and chicken sandwich. They were mostly cooked well but lacked great seasoning. For the price, I would expect at least one good flavored dish. This restaurant has great potential!
