The tortilla soup was recommended, and I’m so glad I listened. Its bright acidity and beautifully balanced flavor gave it an almost transcendent quality. The salmon was perfectly cooked over charred wood, and the subtle smoky flavor of the wood became part of the fish itself—it was lovely. The hollandaise-based sauce was rich without overpowering the dish. The entire meal felt thoughtful, balanced, and genuinely enjoyable. Service was exceptional—the restaurant manager was attentive, consistently present on the floor, and clearly invested in the guest experience. My server was warm, professional, and she was impressively knowledgeable about everything on the menu. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Jeff did an amazing job with my dinner. Food was great. Cooked perfectly. I enjoyed eating at the hearth and watching him cook other takes meals. It was fun watching a master at work. Brian was a great server. He was friendly and attentive. Great job to the entire staff

Jackie was an incredible server — so personable, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we arrived! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the wings and pork belly. Come for the amazing food, stay for the vibes and hospitality. Such a great experience all around!
What a neat little place for an evening meal. The atmosphere is like a local tavern, cozy and comfortable. The food is good and the service is friendly and casual. There is a decent bar area and they have their own brand of bourbon called Middle West Spirits. First-time visitor. I would recommend for an evening out.
Karen treated us so well, we walked in and said we’re starving and also need a comfy place to do some work. And we were immediately seated next to an outlet and SO well cared for. It was a perfect evening to wrap up exhausting days! Very grateful for the quality service, the comfy booth, and the DELICIOUS food! (Also the key lime pie and the biscuits both live up to the hype!)
