Everything was wonderful. They even had mass on the lobby TV at 6;30 am when I came out to get coffee- which is always available. Pools were great. Wild flowers, beach... kite field. Loved it.
We spent July 4th weekend at the cabin. It was amazing wonderful experience accept a few minor things. Overall experience is very positive. However, if you are planning to camp in one of their cabins, you must realize that they are more towards a "glamping" rather than a cabin in woods. C16- has a great location right on a shore of a small pond!
I absolutely love this location. there is everything to love about it. there is so much walking and scenery. the cabins are spacious and loving. there were some issues with the shower but other than that, it was a great time. the rooms are in serious need of remodel but I am saying that with love. they have golfing, the lake, playground, campground and so much more.

The rooms at this hotel are really nice but there is generally no service. We stayed for six nights and housekeeping did not once come into our room and take out the trash let alone make the beds. We ate at the restaurant a few times and service was incredibly slow, the last morning my daughter's food was brought out a full 45 minutes before my food was brought to the table. There isn't much to do in the immediate area except the activities on site. The pool chemicals were so strong that I thought my daughter's hair was going to fall out because it became so crispy after swimming in the indoor pool. I would generally stay here again because the rooms were nice but it is not worth what they charged me at over $200 a night or some of the nights that we were there. At most this is a $100 a night room based on the service provided.
Our family stayed 2 nights at the Lodge over the 4th of July weekend. What a beautiful place to vacation. Lake views, nature walks, swimming in & out doors, 2 hot tubs, dining, snack shop & bar site. Very clean ! Coffee in lobby all day til evening. Plenty of indoor seating. We went to the beach each day ! ( we drove over to beach but can walk to it ) Bathrooms at beach & plenty of picnic space & parking. Lots of activities on site for ages, racketball, paddle boats, kayaks, volleyball, nature paths & more. Definitely will be back . Golf course right next door as well .
