Dr. Watlington 's care has been done if that best I've received in Seattle. When most healthcare providers are visibly struggling for multiple reasons with providing person centered care Dr. W has been consistently caring and kind. My whole family sees him due to how helpful he has been.
The entire staff was very friendly and supportive. Dr. Hiu is amazing; for once I felt like actually had productive discussions with a doctor about my concerns and medical history. Very thorough and thoughtful, a complete 180 from my last care provider! Excellent team and very happy to be under their care moving forward.
I cannot recommend Dr. Kyle Hocquard enough. As someone who works in tech, I really appreciate a doctor who understands the specific demands of the industry and how they impact overall health. Dr. Hocquard possesses all the outstanding qualities of a great PCP: he is patient, extremely knowledgeable, and never makes you feel rushed. He truly listens and partners with you to find the best solutions. I also have to give a huge shout-out to his office staff. Navigating healthcare administration can often be a headache, but his team made it incredibly easy. They went above and beyond to help me find specialists within my network and handled the scheduling seamlessly. If you are looking for a practice that is organized, empathetic, and actually cares about your well-being, this is the place to go.

Shaina Hakala has been my primary care NP for three years, and I have mixed opinions. TL:DR, shes great for some things, and not for others. My first wellness visit with her in 2023 was great. No issues. She maintained all the meds I was prescribed by previous doctors that worker well for me, including a hormonal acne med. At my second wellness visit with her in 2024, she kept trying to switch my acne medication even though I was perfectly satisfied with it. I relented because she kept being adamant, and I figured it would have the same effect as the original medication. It didn’t. I suddenly got acne that I thought came from working out. But the medication wasnt making it better, so I stopped taking the med after 4 months. My skin without the acne med improved, until fall of this past year after a few months of work stress made my skin act up. When I went back to see her this past year, I requested I be put back on the hormonal acne med, but I asked if she could switch the specific prescription back to what I used in 2023. However, she continued to urge me to stay on the one she switched me to, counseling me on how I can minimize the side effects of the medication she switched me to. Now Im on the med she wants me to take, and my acne has returned, worse than before I started taking it. She has never presented me with a legitimate medical reason why I need to use the medication she wants me to take for acne. So as far as I am aware, there is no reason why I should not be able to switch back to the original medication. I have felt like she wants me to take the medication SHE thinks is better, even though it’s my body and I know I prefer the one I was on before. Ive expressed reasons for liking the original medication better, and I had been on it for 7 years and was originally prescribed it by a dermatologist. What is perplexing is that she is a great listener when it comes to other concerns. I had a gnarly GI issue this past year, and her instincts were great regarding what to test me for, even though the chances of having some of these illnesses were really low statistically. When the treatment was not covered by my insurance, she prescribed me a different one via the after hours nurse. While some things about her are good, others make me feel unheard and frustrated. For next year’s wellness visit, I will be changing PCPs. I do like this clinic overall though.
