what a great first experience in Attending a new clinic. I was looking for a new PCP and ended up choosing the Piedmont Midtown PCP office. There was a quick check-in and then no sooner I had taken a seat then I was called by the nurse to go back to the treatment room. The nurse was great. Put me instantly at ease and had a really good sense of humor. She finished and then about five minutes later Dr. Latimer came in. I chose him based on a really good review I got from one of my other Piedmont doctors and I really glad that I did. I introduced myself as a new patient, and told him about some of the previous issues I’ve had with my primary care physician So that he knew why I had moved. I found him not only to be very pleasant with a good sense of humor also, but also very able to explain The details of the reasons for my visit. He asked lots of questions and I was very happy to hear that they were answers for what it was that I Was going through. Suffice to say I have a slightly different directional treatment for my diabetes and also For prevention of another condition. I felt like he listened and gave suggestions, we talked through these suggestions and ended up with a plan. I am very happy that I chose him at this clinic as more happened in my 30 minute visit and has happened in the last four months with my previous PCP.

Missing one of the best Dr's at Piedmont, Dr. Sumera Pervaiz in Alpharetta. Moved to Atlanta and scheduled a second doctor at Midtown, Dr Charles Latimer Talbot who I am grateful for offering the same care and proffesional knowledge I was used to. Thank you for the great experience.
Online scheduling available even as a new patient. Validated parking in the garage with direct access into the office. Dr. Golusinski had great bedside manner and apologized for the delay despite it being 7 minutes! Quest phlebotomists in the office were excellent as well.
Why is it so difficult to find a fair, transparent medical practice? I've been here a total of two times - once for a physical last year and once recently for a telehealth appointment where I was seeking out medication. Billing is an absolute nightmare, and I'm beyond frustrated at the lack of transparency and seemingly unethical billing practices. I have a follow up appointment, but I am strongly considering canceling because I have absolutely zero idea how much I'll be charged. I scheduled a telehealth appointment, assuming it would be similar to the costs quoted by my insurance (UHC) for in-network telehealth - anywhere from $75 to $150. I figured this would be cheaper than going in-person here. Piedmont lists zero prices online, and they definitely don't during the sign up flow. My doctor was 10-15 minutes late joining. The appointment was targeted - I was looking for medication upon recommendation from my therapist. I spent less than 15 minutes talking to the doctor and got my prescription. During the last 2 minutes of the appointment, I brought up a different issue and simply asked "what kind of doctor would I talk to about ____ issue?" The doctor gave me some feedback but absolutely nothing that provided a resolution or was new to me. It turns out he decided to bill me additional for that. I received a bill for $370, of which my insurance paid $150 or so. Upon asking Piedmont why the bill is so high, I was told that "simple issue is $253 with discount $75.90 and multiple issues is $370 and with discount is $111". 1) I have no idea how that reconciles with my bill and 2) they are counting the simple question I asked to the doctor, of which the medicine prescribed had nothing to do with, as another issue. I tried to get additional information, but was ghosted by their online billing team This past Friday, I gave them a call, and they told me that there is a base charge of $370 for ALL 30-minute telehealth sessions, regardless of what we speak about. 1) My session lasted less than 15 minutes, given the doctor was late 2) That doesn't match up with what their initial answer was, and I was not able to get any sort of explanation at all about the two separate answers given to me I'm desperately looking for a PCP that I can rely on and trust, but I don't think it'll be Piedmont moving forward given their billing practices and flippant attitudes when asked any questions.
