Overall, had a nice stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The room was a nice size with a king size bed, TV, desk, and arm chair. There is a mini-fridge and a small microave in the room. The bathroom has a nice sized shower (no tub) and plenty of space around the sink. The gym was decent. They have an indoor pool and hot tub as well. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have conference rooms available. There is a nearby Starbucks (across the street), ice cream shop and Pita Place. I would have given 5 stars except for one thing. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and they give a $10 Food and Beverage credit, which covers the 2 lowest cost item on the breakfast menu, but does not cover tax for the item. I ended up using my food and beverage credit to order desserts, one night it was $8 and the other night it was $9, so the food and tax was covered by the credit. However, no part of the tip is covered by the credit. Overall, I found this F&B credit rather stingy and not a great way to treat Diamond members. I suppose this is in comparison to other Hilton hotels which are more generous.
we came up here to stay for personal matters! 12-15-25 through12-19-25 this hotel is absolutely beautiful! I didn't have very high expectations since its in akron & on market however. don't let that fool u. its in the perfect location. u can get to any part of akron u need in just a few minutes. there is food at the hotel or the surrounding area. the breakfast(paid) was better then any ive ever had at a hotel. better then stale bagels & cereal lol.. i seen other reviews & i got to say clearly some people have never been to i higher end hotel. if u use the hot tub u have to turn the jets on by the wall next to it lol... that easy. stop complaining when thats a personal error not the hotels. why didnt u ask? the staff was super friendly. I forget their names(night shift) but it was a beautiful black woman & another white man. they were excellent & really need a raise. they went above & beyond to make sure we was taken care of. we got locked out the room one day & we needed something printed the other time. since the public printer was acting funny he took the time to let us email his work email the file & print it for us. he was amazing. I wish I knew their name to give credit where its absolutely due! the hotel was super clean. the pool & weight room were great. the pool could have been a little more heated but that's OK. we got in the hot tub! the only thing that I could complain about was the construction going on on one of the floors and they had one of the elevators taken up & unusable. we still had the 2nd elevator to use so was forced to use the stairs. the contractors they hired were even really nice! The house keeping i assume manager was great also. we seen him a few times in passing & he was one of the best employees u guys have. always asked how our day was. if we needed anything. he even helped carry stuff to our room! please give that man a raise also. he deserves employee of the month! its not too often ill make a review but seen it pop up & I had to. keep up the good work & well be returning customers for sure!

Great place to stay! We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn while my husband underwent eye surgery. I was suffering with a sinus infection. The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn made us comfortable and checked on our well being. The food was fantastic!!!!! The desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, my bed was a 4/5 for comfort. Thanks for making a difficult time a little brighter.
Probably one of the worst customer-service experiences we've ever had at a hotel. From the moment we checked in, the staff seemed incredibly annoyed that we were there. The front desk people in particular were miserable...From asking simple questions such as "where can I fill up my water bottle" to inquiring about an extra blanket, the staff were rude and incredibly unhelpful. Rooms are dingy and small. We were originally booked for a three night stay but checked out early to go somewhere else. Won't be staying here again when we come to Akron.
We were looking for a hotel while traveling and stayed here. The rooms were really nice, clean, and spacious. Shout out to Thomas from reception for answering my questions I had when I called to book. He was very kind, professional, and able to answer all of my questions. We will definitely be back the next time we are traveling though the area!
