Overall, our stay was decent and the hotel had a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Check-in was smooth, and every staff member we interacted with was kind and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were both clean and well-maintained, and while Expedia mentions a hot tub in the fitness center, it’s actually located in the same area as the pool, which was very nice. That said, there were two issues that ultimately impacted our experience. When we first arrived, we noticed hair in the shower. While this may not be a major concern for some, a clean room should also mean a clean bathroom, especially in a space meant for personal hygiene. We notified the front desk, and they were very accommodating, they offered to switch our room or send someone up to clean it. We opted to have housekeeping take care of it while we stepped out for the evening. Housekeeping did come to clean the shower, however the interaction afterward was disappointing. The staff member implied that there was no hair present and suggested the issue was simply staining from hair dye. While the shower itself did have some red staining, that was not the concern. There was visible hair on the floor, which was also documented in photos. We would have been perfectly satisfied with a simple apology and resolution, but the insinuation that we were being dishonest was frustrating and unnecessary. The only other downside was the snack bar. The booking information shows a well-stocked snack area, but during our entire stay it was barely stocked at all. We ended up purchasing snacks elsewhere, which wasn’t a huge inconvenience but didn’t match what was advertised. All that said, aside from the shower situation and the snack availability, the hotel was fairly clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. With a bit more attention to consistency and guest communication, this could have been a much better experience!

Loved this hotel for vacation. Hot tub was the highlight, if you go early in the mornings, most weekdays we were the only ones there. Free breakfast is decent! Would totally recommend!! Just make sure the front desk doesn’t accidentally charge you twice for your booking (happened to us)
Had an excellent stay on 2/18/26. Valet parking is $70 and honestly it's worth it. Valet was a really good guy and took very good care of me. Room was perfect for me, very nice bathroom. All staff were very friendly and the experience overall was awesome.
Stayed here for a few nights in mid January on my way back to Whidbey Island from NE and it was very comfortable. The staff were great and very nice. I did not use the pool, which is unusual for me, but it looked good, It was a nice rest, albeit freezing in Chi town then. I would stay there again.
Trying to stay bias and fair, but difficult sometimes, same brand hotel when run by “certain” people, quality of service and hospitality goes downhill! No smile, no greetings upon arrival, no feeling of being in hospitality business. No towel in a newly checked in room! And when asked sounded more like hostility than hospitality! This is downtown Chicago! Most vibrant city! You can do better! Try to deserve your brand!!
