Welp honaprte, Devin and Tay. Walked in wasn't greeted. I was waiting in line another lady was in front of me. I was on the phone with my child and noticed that everyone was too occupied to help us who was waiting. After I got off the phone still no we will be with you soon or nothing. They were talking amongst theirselves. The manager on duty was on her phone and hand it to the devin guy. The housekeeping was also there just waiting. My husband comes in with our bags and I said loudly I'm just waiting to be helped. After I said this the lady who name I'm sorry can't pronounced didn't apologize for the wait or nothing. She said I need your ID then told me to insert my card and it was a $50 hold. Then she gave me the wrong room. I choose 308 and she gave me 608. When I told her this she just looked at me and said it choose. I said no I choose my room before I got here. Because they were so mixed up I said nevermind. She didn't tell me any information like how to get to my room, elevators or that I need my card on the elevator to go up breakfast time or check out time. Reason I get lower rooms I hate having to wait on the elevators. She never gave me my welcome bag with my 2 waters. Went to my room to get dressed because I was going to an concert. Went in the shower and found bugs. I was done by this time. I left and came back that night and the night crew were the most friendly nice people. Didn't catch the black gentleman name i believe he had a bald head but I know he worked the front desk. He needs to train everyone in there including the manager. I hated my stay here. Which the last time I was here was during the remodel in 2017. You have gone down. I will not stay here again. Breakfast was awful not stocked. Bringing 20 sausage patties out at time was ridiculous.

The staff treated my family and me well. The rooms were pretty nice and cozy. My daughter accidentally left her cell phone, and the hotel held it for us for three weeks until we came back down and got it.
I want to preface this review that I do not often take time to harp on these shortcomings but this specific location did more damage than they could image. I had a gift certificate for a free two-night stay at this hilton location. This was gifted to me from a friend who won this at a charity event. The email where these certicates were sent never mentioned any physical copies that were required to be provided once checked in. The email actually explicitly referred to these as electronic gift certificates. The front desk representative, a black male, completely useless and not even human. He kept repeating a certain "protocol" and insinuating that the certificate could be forged or fake. I came in for my best friend wedding for the weekend, and I couldn't even meet them the first night because of hassle this gentleman created. A woman afterwards somehow did get the rooms redeemed and I only was charged for the security deposit. This was explained to me by the General Manager, Jennifer White. Completely agreeing, I provided my credit card and process the payment. The following day, after the wedding, I returned and my room key was not working and I had to come down. Again, black male, "employee of the month" candidate turned on his repetitive voice stating that the Manager still needed the the physical copy. Now I had no room, I was charge for a night when I didn't want that, and I was being strong-armed into basically paying for the next night or find somewhere else. Mind you - my friend, who provided this certificate and was at the wedding, was staying at another Hilton utilizing the same gift certificate. The staff never heard of this "physical certificate protocol". I even provided the email chain where my friend was provided such gift certificate. The email even states these are electronic gift certificates, NOT physical. I forwarded the chain to the front desk agent who even reviewed the emails and names of the chain. The part that got me the most was the fact that he said, "Well, those definitely look like from the higher ups in the Hilton." Even showing him all that, again, repeating like an AI voice, "we need a physical copy". At that point, I simply left and had to exit the room with my luggage, suit, and backpack in hand. Ruining my stay for a momentous day for my friend, I had to sleep on a friends couch for the next night. PLEASE TO ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS LOCATION! DO NOT! Rooms are clean and basic. Terrible service and really has not human touch. Pool was not open, even with the room key. The Location also had a few homeless people down the street so don't go walking out at night. This single experience solidified my business with any hotel EXCEPT Hampton Inn and any Hilton related hotels. For this Hampton In location, specifically, my only message to you guys is DO BETTER.
Everything was great! The room was amazing and so was the customer service. Dominic was really friendly and helpful! I did notice the breakfast was a lot more limiting than all other Hampton Inns or even other hotels in the Hilton family. I was shocked to see even the lower tier hotels like Spark have a wider selection than this location. But overall it was great and it served our purpose for a one night stay while we were passing through.
The hotel was mostly clean. The couch smelled even after putting a sheet over it though. There was also a smashed bug on the wall in the room (gross). The really bad part about this hotel though was the bed. It was so hard, I may as well have slept on the floor. The pillows were awful as well. I didn’t get much sleep here. The breakfast consisted of lukewarm food, cold coffee, and expired yogurt. It’s convenient to my office, but I’ll probably find someplace else to stay next time.
