This was a disappointing recommendation. Google recommended stopping by and checking out the park, there were no chess pieces out so we could not play large chests. The water fountain looked partially broken. It doesn't seem like something that is a place that you go during the day. This is likely something that's better off as an evening activity.
I came here for Tango dance that they were having from some type of event. I've been to many events and markets that's been held here at the park but the dance that night was amazing. I will hopefully be signing up to take lessons here real soon and I'm happy that I was able to catch this
I love this park. So many fun events take place here. It’s clean, safe, has great art and a life size chess board. They now have a s’mores cafe. Yum!

Public Piano with a small shallow splash pad with fountains. Very relaxing to eat lunch or people watch. Unfortunately, there are people that are homeless that will pan handle. Usually they are asked to leave as to not disrupt other public citizens.
We dropped by on a Sunday morning and there was some sort of cat exhibit on display. My 7-year old daughter enjoyed looking at each cat. There were a lot of people looking with us so it was lively and felt safe. There was also a security guard stationed here, presumably to keep an eye on the exhibits so no one vandalized them.
