Had an amazing experience here for my wife's birthday. Our server was John and he was super professional and attentive. The food was top-notch but fair warning, it is priced accordingly. Highly recommend Butcher & Rose for a nice dinner experience in Columbus!
This is a very nice place. It has a great selection. Their gluten free options surpass all othets. The food is amazing. The service is exceptional, the ambiance is nice, the drinks have variety and are good. The deserts, something for everyone. Check it for your special occasions or for a great lunch. We went for anniversary and they made the occasion amazing. Thank you so much. Our waitress was amazing as was the food. Thank you.
Finally made it to Butcher & Rose after trying to find the time for the past couple of years, and it definitely lived up to the anticipation. We started with the Parker House bread, which may honestly be some of the best bread we've ever had. It was warm, buttery, and hard to stop eating. For my entrée, I had the lamb chops, and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The Potato Anna, was impressive and a nice touch which complimented our meal. The service was very on point too. Our server was knowledgeable, offered great recommendations, and was attentive throughout the evening without ever feeling overbearing. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing experience! Such a classy and beautiful restaurant. So many details down to the menu back with beautiful roses and the plates with their quippy sayings. I had a great time with my friend. All the food was absolutely amazing. Our server, John, was very nice, personable, and professional and gave great recommendations. I would 100% come back!
This is the fanciest restaurant I've had the pleasure to visit in some time! We had made reservations (please for your sanity, I would recommend you do the same, as the place was PACKED to the brim on a Saturday night), but it still took the hosts about 30 minutes to procure us a table, as diners were lingering. However, as a diner myself, I can understand that if you're spending a cool $150 on a meal for two in this economy, you feel entitled to not rush! The decor is spectacular, the furnishings were both comfy and opulent, down to the embossed ice cubes and weighted silverware, and the service once we were seated was for the most part very good. I feel like I was overlooked a couple of times when trying to order, since we had a rather large party and I wasn't clamoring loudly for attention. Our server realized this the third time it happened and apologized profusely for repeatedly skipping me. The food was also very good. Most of us ordered the Wagyu cheeseburger, which was good...but still just a cheeseburger. All the sides and apps were delicious, though. Very similar style of cuisine to Mitchell's Steakhouse downtown. We ordered creamed spinach, whipped potatoes, housemade bread and cultured butter, sauced broccoli, and desserts, as well as our entrees. I ate leftover creamed spinach for two additional meals and savored every savory, bacon-y bite! Definitely would come here again, especially for a special occasion, but next time I think I'll try an entree that is not necessarily the "safe" choice and takes a little more finesse to cook. I look forward to our next meal here!
