This place is a nicer version of health point. I had multiple issues with this office and am very dissatisfied with the care recieved. I came originally for a consult over an abscessed tooth infection needing extraction. My consult went fine. I had my tooth extraction the following week, the process itself wasn't awful. I ended up with a dry socket and infection which required treatment - no biggie, I am not putting that on the dental team. However this followup appointment is where things get ugly. An hour after my appointment time I asked a second time why I had not been brought back yet, they informed me that someone pulled my chart in another room and closed it out as if I had been seen. Red flag #1 since I was in the lobby. They took me back, checked everything over and sent me on my way. After I healed I made an appointment for a treatment plan consult, forked the cash over, they did a second set of xrays and a cleaning, and no further treatment plan was provided because my "teeth look fine". At this point, I decided to be seen elsewhere and requested a copy of my xrays, where they sent me another patients xrays via email. Fast forward to my consult with an oral surgeon where I need 5 crowns, 3 fillings, and additional dental care. I'm incredibly dissatisfied with the care I recieved here at Cincinnati Dental.
Refused a 2 year old girl with active private employer provided dental insurance service because the receptionist didn’t call the number on the back of the card I gave her for insurance. Seriously? They called me saying my daughter was refused urgent important dental service because my insurance showed “inactive”; such a thing takes 2 seconds of common sense to clear up, I called the customer service number on the insurance card she verified it was active and sent me proof with start date and eligibility in email. And a 2year olds dental issue couldn’t be taken care of because they couldn’t just service her in the meantime while I called insurance. They even tried to get me to pay cash upfront not even a bill!!! For a totally free insurance provided service! The utter absurdity! If you wanted to do that you have to pay cash upfront then sue them after the insurance reimburses the claim what an absurd loop of events they wanted rather than just getting the appointment going and calling insurance while she was seated waiting and getting it resolved. Responding to them “ You chose not to proceed with treatment under those circumstances. Unfortunately, healthcare providers cannot be expected to provide services without either verified active insurance coverage or financial arrangements in place. While we understand insurance systems can occasionally have delays or discrepancies, the responsibility for maintaining active coverage and confirming benefits ultimately rests between the subscriber and the insurance carrier prior to scheduling treatment.” Yea I verified I had active coverage, YOUR EMPLOYEE on the phone stated just bring your social security number for delta dental, did just that, then she was looking up some old policy saying it’s inactive and too lazy to call them to verify like is your literal job since I brought my proof the social which is all you asked for. You think someone with active employment and coverage since February would be arguing so actively, then you refuse service to a 2 year old saying you’re a private business; like grow up and take accountability this was your fault firmly for not giving 5minutes of benefit of the doubt and getting the patient seated while you verified insurance.

I travel from out of state to see this practice specifically, myself and my children have been coming in for years and we absolutely love this practice. The staff is extremely helpful and the dentist is the best! We appreciate your service from the Johnson Family!
Dr. Sohi is simply God Sent. He is the most compassionate and friendly Dentist we have encountered. My daughter was very scared as Orthodontist wanted 2 teeth removed, it literally took Dr Sohi few minutes to take the teeth out. No PAIN Could not even tell when it was done WOW. The office is very clean Staff super professional and they have a great train running in the waiting room. highly recommended
Dr.Sohi and his assistants Christina and Shawna were absolutely fantastic. They explained everything throughly. They went above and beyond even helped me keep an eye on my little one while I was getting my treatment done. My daughter is getting partials and we can’t wait to see the final look. The front staff has made this process easy with scheduling and reminding me of appointments. I am very happy with this entire process and grateful to have a dentist I trust and love.
