4.3 / 5 - fair score for the experience. The place has potential. Just missed the mark on our visit. Ordered a nice sake and some cocktails. They brought and poured it all together. We ordered about 8-9 dinner rounds and they mostly came all together on top of each other. We would have preferred a littler spacing to enjoy the rounds. I think the servers were more focused on closing since it was a Tuesday night. The crab rice was tasty and well balanced (mix in your own crab), the bang bang shrimp had a perfect sauciness to fried crunch ratio. The bluefin was also nice. The table found some of the fish not as fresh as would have liked. Potstickers and lobster bao got mid rating votes (not ordering again). The branzini fish was a hit. Dessert was also a bit of a miss. Coconut cake was better than the brownie for sure. They brought the bill and dropped without us asking while eating. Cleared my plate while eating and talking (apologised). But without asking if we wanted more, just kept checking if we were paying. It was a bit of weird vibe. We also brought a local who recommended it, and they were surprised as well. In the world of hit or miss, this was a miss. But looked popular and I see the owner writes back to reviews. Wishing you the best, a little bit of work could hit a bib gourmand.
We came here based on a slew of recommendations via Reddit and are glad we did. Had heard reservations were tough so we booked way in advance for a 5:30 seating on a Thursday. We arrived early and were able to be sat right away. Gavon was our server and he welcomed us warmly and gave us the run down. Our ordered came in two waves, first up was the lobster buns, edamame, and burrata. The burrata was the surprise star, so delicious and luscious when spread over the bread. The edamame was nicely charred and well seasoned with salt and garlic. The lobster bao buns were very good, just wish there was more to them. The second wave of food was the highly anticipated crab fried rice, the burnt ends, and the hurricane fries. Everything was spectacular, the burnt ends was probably my favorite bite, and the tower of fries with that ridiculous aioli was way more than we could have eaten. When we thought we were done, Gavon brought out a lemon gelato on the house as I had mentioned that my birthday was the week prior and one of the reasons we were in town. Two of us, despite being filled up on our meal, housed the dessert because it was just that darn good. Would recommend Noko to anyone looking for a an excellent experience with the food to back it up. I even got a voice mail from them a couple days later just thanking us for coming in, nice touch!

Noku is a phenomenal restaurant! The dishes are well crafted and elegant. My favorite small dish is definitely the Beef Dumplings. I wish I ordered a second plate of them. For the main course, we really enjoyed the Sea Bass. The sea bass was cooked brilliantly, with a good crisp towards the skin and had a refreshing slaw salad underneath. I definitely recommend and will definitely be returning with my wife and next time some friends too. Kendahl was a wonderful server and made the experience for us that much more enjoyable.
This place was exceptional! My husband and I came here for our first wedding anniversary visiting in town just for the weekend and the food that we ordered was probably some of the best food I’ve ever had. Claire and Cari provided exceptional service as well And made our anniversary night so special! I left with a happy heart and a full belly. I did leave a comment card at the table, and a representative of the restaurant even contacted me By phone to thank me for my kind words this is what I’m talking about when you talk about service!
I think they provided exceptional customer service at this restaurant my friends and I went a few weeks ago and I’ve been meaning to put this review on here, but I didn’t get around to it. The only thing we didn’t like. Is that to get the happy hour we have to sit at the bar. They’ve got like very few seats at the bar and you can’t go sit at a table and go to the bar to get a drink for happy hour you have to actually be sitting at the bar to get a drink for happy hour which is just weird. However, the customer service in our seats was fantastic. We will go back again just to kind of hang out but we wish we could go for happy hour and hang out but we can’t if we don’t get a seat at the bar for happy hour but 10 out of 10 customer service.
