This was a Great Experience from Beginning to End! The phone conversations and initial inspection was most helpful and informative and that was followed up with the “Best Service” I have ever received with my Home! The Roofing Crew wasted no time with preparation and performing the Roof Replacement. The Crew cleaned their work areas as they were installing the roof, leaving my Home looking better than before! To Top it all off…..Guy Roofing recognized me as a Combat Veteran and my Military Service by honoring me as a selection for their Veterans Program! Guy Roofing is the Best in the Area!
From start to finish they were very informative. They gave options and didn’t just give us the highest price. This is probably the best company I have ever worked with. They even cleaned up our porch from where we took a piece of our porch down so they could get to everything a mess they didn’t even make. It all was an amazing experience.

I am doing this review for the actual roofers that did our roof later I will do a whole review about Guy Roofing. Zack’s team showed up at 6:00 AM as my husband and I were told they would. They did not mess around they got right to work they even moved some things out of the way that were too heavy for myself or my husband to move to protect them. They tarped our house, our yard our little pool, etc. to protect them from debris. Then they sprayed everything off with a handheld blower on the porch, the deck, and everywhere else when they were finished with the roof. They took a magnet and tried to get all the nails but sadly we have found some. But my husband has a magnet that he drags the road in front of our house with because work trucks are always coming into the apartments below us and they lose a lot of stuff off of their trucks. And we know they tried their best to get everything up they were very thorough . I couldn’t believe this when I saw it but they even painted the plumbing vents (vent stacks) that were white to match the shingles and the black rubber boots that go around the pipes they put on. We were given a timeline of 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM until 3:00 PM they would probably be here and finished but they had everything done by 10:00 AM! On a scale from 1 to 10, they were a 10 until my husband found about 40 nails in our yard 20 the first day that I thought was all so I just threw them away. But then he found these pictured below the second day. And we have 4 autos that sometimes we have to pull into the yard so that would have not been good for our tires at all! But other than that they did a good job. PS now when it warms up we have painting and pressure washing to do plus.
If I could give a negative review I would. Working with Guy Roofing was an exceptionally poor experience. I reached out to them because of a leak that appeared over my bed. The initial meeting was warm and professional, however, after the first alleged repair, the leak spread to my bathroom. I called them back and after much conversation about how they do not guarantee their work, they returned. The second repair was only valid through the next storm when the initial leak appeared and dripped as consistently as the rain falling outside. I called my insurance provider and coincidentally, they also have a partnership with State Farm. I was falsely told that it “must be condensation”; from a unit that was not on. Long story short, there were a total of 4 visits to my home, outwitted and exhausted, I contacted a different company to help. The alternate company looked inside of the ceiling and shared pictures from where the leak was occurring along with how the insulation had been tossed about for observation. He followed up by going on the roof, finding the hole, sending me a picture as evidence and patching it for free. (Bless that man!) I made a complaint to the BBB as well and their support team claimed that I expressed satisfaction with the work of Guy which is an incredibly false claim. I am still dissatisfied, and I am reminded of the frustration as I continue to pay off the thousands of dollars I was charged for a prolonged poor experience. I would advise against using their services.
The crew did not speak English. No one stayed to supervise them. They put the wrong shingles on the back side of the house. Owens Corning reviewed the roof and stated the roof shingles were bowing and bending due to NOT installed correctly and verified the shingles were not Williamsburg Gray. Guy Roofing has falsely stated to the BBB that they have tried to work with me. The day after the roof was put on a supervisor came over and told me that they will not work with me because I notified the BBB. Thank God for Ring camera video!!!!!!!!!
