I worked with Shrager Defense Attorneys when some serious charges were lodged against me. David Shrager handled my preliminary trial and was able to get one charge completely dropped. Kevin Chernosky was my lawyer I worked with leading up to the trial. He was very knowledgeable and provided me with his insights as discovery and other pieces were reviewed. This was a very difficult time and Erin, a Senior Paralegal there, made sure we were always updated and any questions answered or forwarded on to Kevin in between calls/meetings. When it came time for the trial, Kevin made sure I was ready. He laid out possible outcomes and how we could handle them. With Kevin's help the charge I was worried most about was dropped down to a less serious offense. I cannot thank him and this law firm enough for their time and dedication to making sure my case and myself were taken care of. I can finally move on with my life thanks to them. I hope I never need a lawyer again in my life, but if I do, I would hire Shrager Defense Attorneys again, and I would ask specifically for Kevin Chernosky.
While nobody wants to be in a position to need to hire a defense attorney, if one requires that manner of legal representation, it is a privilege to be taken care of by Mr Shrager. I felt well looked after from the moment I began speaking with the receptionist in his office, all the way through the resolution of the case. He and his team make it easy to navigate the legal process and they are communicative and direct, never failing to keep defendants in the loop. When we met face to face, it didn’t take long to understand Mr. Shrager’s calm and affable demeanor. His words of wisdom and near super-human ability to resolve conflicts made the day of the hearing far less stressful than I thought it would be. Without divulging my reasons for retaining his services, I will say that he did a fantastic job of proposing a very fair option on which all parties could agree.
