I’ve stayed at multiple hotels across Dallas, from different brands and price ranges, and I can confidently say this is the best one by far — and somehow it gets better every single time I visit. From the moment you arrive, everything feels easy and welcoming. The location is perfect, with so many restaurants and stores within walking distance, yet the hotel itself feels calm, safe, and well-maintained. Parking is convenient, and getting in and out is effortless. The rooms are always spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are excellent, the rooms are quiet, and everything works exactly as it should — which isn’t always the case at other hotels. You can tell this place is consistently cared for. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every visit, the team is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. You feel valued as a guest, not just checked in and forgotten. That level of service is rare and makes a huge difference. Breakfast is another big plus — fresh, well-stocked, and a great way to start the day. The overall experience feels reliable, comfortable, and high-quality every time. If you’re looking for a hotel in Dallas that delivers clean rooms, great service, a convenient location, and consistent excellence, stop searching — this is the one. I won’t stay anywhere else when I’m in the area. Highly recommended. 5 stars without hesitation.
Overall, my stay at Holiday Inn Express and Suites Dallas West was just okay. The biggest positive was the customer service. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay more pleasant. That said, cleanliness was a real letdown. The bathroom in particular needs more attention. As shown in the photos, the shower head had heavy buildup and the shower rail was also dirty, which made it uncomfortable to use. On top of that, the in room coffee machine could not be used because of visible buildup and rust inside, raising concerns about cleanliness. This hotel has potential, especially because of the great staff, but better cleaning and maintenance would make a big difference. The service was great, but the condition of the shower and coffee machine took away from the overall experience.

So far, I can confidently say that this has been my favorite Holiday Inn Express experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. They were warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The rooms themselves were impressive, offering a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. I appreciated how quiet they were, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep after a long day of travel. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect sanctuary for relaxation and rest. I must admit that I found it hard to get out of bed in the morning! Additionally, the location proved to be quite convenient, as there were numerous dining options within just a short walk from the hotel. This made it easy to explore local restaurants and enjoy a variety of cuisines without the hassle of driving. Overall, my stay at this Holiday Inn Express has been an exceptional experience, and I look forward to returning in the future.
Before our Thursday night check-in, I called the front desk with many questions about room options, and Angela patiently answered everything. When we arrived, she greeted us warmly, making us feel truly welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel is in a great location—downtown Dallas is just 5 minutes away, and restaurants and shopping are within a 2-minute walk. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, with 24-hour coffee a great bonus. Angela’s personal touch made our stay truly memorable!
Stayed here during my business travel and it was okay. The location has its positives and its negatives. So, the good is that its located near EVERYTHING, and the bad is that its located near everything. Traffic builds up terribly but if you can navigate through, all you need is very close. The room was spacious had a closet, drawers, and sitting area within the room. It also has a microwave, mini fridge, and keurig machine coffee area. Nice size TV, remote had Netflix button but Netflix doesn't work. I had a bug in my shower in the morning which was a bit gross which I assumed came out the drain and the toilet had a bad stain within the toilet bowl hole which needs to be scrubbed better (you can see it if you zoom in on the picture). Also, the bathroom had an awful odor, like that mildew smell which put a damper on my stay. I used my chlorox wipes to wipe down the bathroom to no avail. Not sure if all bathrooms had this issue. Front desk was hit and miss with welcoming you entering the hotel. Housekeeping was very friendly. But overall, the stay was okay.
