Jessica at the front desk at Holiday Inn Express was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. She went above and beyond to help us, made rebooking another night quick and easy, and was very nice when we asked for room service. She even made sure we received room service after our baby woke up, which we truly appreciated. The room was nice, clean, and restocked with more supplies during our stay. This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we would definitely recommend it to everyone. The location is great, the hotel is quiet and comfortable, and there are many convenient stores and places nearby. Jessica’s positive attitude and excellent customer service truly stood out. Thank you for making our experience even better!
This was a good place to stay. Very clean. Very tidy. The walls are thin so we could hear the tvs on both sides of our room. The child in the room above us ran back and forth all night. We could hear him. We called him Zippy. No coffee makers in the rooms so you will need to go downstairs every time you want a cup of coffee.

First off the good - I arrived here in route to my home (Abilene) from Dallas after a medical procedure which made me sick. It was around 1PM and I asked for an early check-in and I was accommodated immediately for which I am forever grateful. The room was PERFECT except I forgot to ask for a room with a tub (my bad) and their hot tub/spa was out of order and that is what I wanted most was a nice hot soak d/t the medical procedure I had. But the bed was the softest and the A/C was humming perfectly and not cutting in and out so I fell asleep and did not wake up until after midnight! So quiet the place was - all night coffee and FOR ONCE they remembered my welcome amenity snack and water! I am a Diamond Elite member and they never remember that. Breakfast was excellent and everything was awesome which is why what came next was so disappointing: I ended up leaving my MacBook Air behind along with the charger and cord and didn't realize it until I was in Abilene. I called back and told them and they said the process to follow is to go to FedEX in Abilene, print out a label and email it to them and then they give it to FedEx and they send it to me. I told them not to forget the charger and the cord because the charger was a fast charger around $30 and the cord another $8 or so. When I got the laptop back - it did not have either the charger or cord and in fact had the end of the cord broken off at the end and left in the port. They didn't even bother sending the charger. That port doesn't even work to charge the laptop anymore. I guess I should be grateful I got it back, and I am. But I am disappointed that they did not communicate with me that they were sending it back without the charger (why?) and that they broke the cord in the port. (I mean I would have understood - they obviously didn't see it under the covers - I didn't - and probably threw off the covers and it went flying with the cord breaking) but the charger could have been sent and I would only be out the $8 on the cord
Hotel is in a good location and room was clean and comfortable. One elevator was out the whole week which makes going up and down very slow. I got ready to check out with heavy items and no luggage carts were available. I searched all four floors which makes me believe people have them in their rooms. They have three according to the front desk lady. Several were available at check-in but none for checkout. I had several heavy items I had to muscle down to the car. Maybe the hotel needs to implement a give us your driver's license and we will give you a cart. Then return the cart and get your license back. I've seen this work very effectively at other hotels.
I’ve stayed at multiple hotels across Dallas, from different brands and price ranges, and I can confidently say this is the best one by far — and somehow it gets better every single time I visit. From the moment you arrive, everything feels easy and welcoming. The location is perfect, with so many restaurants and stores within walking distance, yet the hotel itself feels calm, safe, and well-maintained. Parking is convenient, and getting in and out is effortless. The rooms are always spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are excellent, the rooms are quiet, and everything works exactly as it should — which isn’t always the case at other hotels. You can tell this place is consistently cared for. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every visit, the team is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. You feel valued as a guest, not just checked in and forgotten. That level of service is rare and makes a huge difference. Breakfast is another big plus — fresh, well-stocked, and a great way to start the day. The overall experience feels reliable, comfortable, and high-quality every time. If you’re looking for a hotel in Dallas that delivers clean rooms, great service, a convenient location, and consistent excellence, stop searching — this is the one. I won’t stay anywhere else when I’m in the area. Highly recommended. 5 stars without hesitation.
