I’ve had the pleasure of working with James, the General Manager at Half Price Auto Repair, on multiple vehicles I’ve brought through the shop. James and his team are always straightforward, transparent, and professional in the way they handle diagnostics, pricing, and turnaround times. They consistently come in at roughly 50% of what you’d expect to pay at a dealership, and the work gets done quickly without cutting corners. It’s been a huge help having a shop I can trust to treat both me and my clients fairly. I highly recommend James and the team at Half Price Auto Repair. TLDR: James and his team are hardworking, honest, and efficient. The prices are reasonable and they care about their customers. I cannot recommend this shop enough!! 👍👍👍👍👍 I had 2 outstanding experiences here! Junior provided excellent customer service during my oil change, so I came back when my car wouldn’t start. James listened carefully to the diagnostic info I gathered and treated me with total respect, something very hard to come by as a woman talking about auto mechanics. He explained everything clearly and provided documentation and test results to back his diagnoses, which were spot on! They replaced the turbo in my Fusion and had everything repaired super quickly, even over the holidays (drop off: late 12/23, pick up: early 12/26)!! Pricing was fair, communication was excellent, and they were honest and transparent throughout. James even confirmed a wheel bearing issue that I’d been hearing but others kept dismissing. My car hasn’t driven this well in years. Hardworking, fast, honest, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them!
