This is such a peaceful and beautifully designed space. The concrete walkways wind over and und under really cool water features, and it’s really nice to just stroll through and take it all in. There’s plenty of shade and seating, so it’s a great place to sit, have lunch, or just relax for a bit. Everything feels quiet, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. Don’t skip the Thanks-Giving Chapel or Circle of Nations!! Definitely worth seeing.
We visited Thanks-Giving Square for an evening interfaith dinner. The garden area is beautiful, especially at night. We toured the chapel and marveled at the stained glass windows. We were told that the chapel is available for weddings. The Square is a spiritual oasis in the middle of a somewhat gritty part of downtown Dallas. I know the area well. For 25 years, I worked at the Harwood Center building at Harwood and Bryan Streets. I walked by the Square almost daily and never stopped in. I remember that the gates were locked or other times the Square was empty but for a few homeless so it was not inviting. However, I highly recommend the Square and Chapel for events. Check out the website to learn more about the Square and how to reserve.

Any spiritual individual should visit this place at least once in their lifetime. In the heart of downtown Dallas. There is much history and insight found here. A great place to meditate and contemplate one's life & existence!
Really cool tower and nice park. The underground section is cool, wish there were actually open stores in it. But its a nice, clean and serene place to visit in the middle of the city.
Wonderful small park for resting and resetting in the busy city. There is access from street level as well as from the tunnel.
