The initial interaction was nice, referral to Blake Maislin due to my insurance company not fully compensating me for some damages. That being said, I believe my case warranted far greater advocacy than it received. Without disclosing the specific details, I am left with the strong impression that my attorney did not aggressively pursue the full value of my claim. Rather than independently evaluating and thoroughly documenting the extent of my damages, it appeared that the defense's assessment was accepted with little meaningful challenge. In my opinion, there was a lack of assertive negotiation and a failure to conduct the level of independent investigation necessary to accurately establish the true value of my losses. I am concerned that, because the case may not have been viewed as one with the potential for an exceptionally large recovery, the effort devoted to maximizing my compensation was less aggressive than it should have been. As a result, I accepted a settlement that I believe falls far short of the compensation my damages justified. While I understand that no outcome can be guaranteed, I expected diligent, thorough, and unwavering advocacy on my behalf. Unfortunately, I do not believe that standard was met.
