Outstanding cocktails. Fabulous view. Great gluten free-friendly menu! We had trouble making a reservation online or by calling but when we walked in mid evening we were able to get a seat at the bar no problem.
The food was not fresh. We ordered the omakase-style sashimi, but the tuna smelled bad and the other fish didn’t seem fresh either. The only thing I enjoyed was the edamame with the spicy sauce. The service was also disappointing. It took a long time for someone to bring us water, and our server was not very attentive to our table. Maybe it was because we were a group of six and there was already an automatic gratuity, but it still felt like we were being overlooked. The only highlight was the atmosphere. From the hotel entrance to the rooftop bar, everything looked beautiful. I might come back for the aesthetics, but not for the food or the service.

It’s a great experience and views. I booked a section for Valentine’s Day. Drinks were good. Beef baos were too. The server was friendly, not overly nice to the points it’s awkward but professional. The dj and jazz night performer did a great job.they do a great job with the ambiance. The only bad thing was they ran out of parking and it was a shit show trying to find some. All the parking lots were $60 . I also attempted to call Harriet’s 6 times in the days leading up to the reservation to ask about parking and no one ever called back until the next day. No type of slight apology was issued for either but whatever, I don’t expect one either (simply an observation)
Food is amazing. Head chef togi does an amazing southern twist on Asian dishes. I like the use of shredded beef for the bulgolgi. I really loved the hot chicken bao. Our server Maddie R was also amazing! Very friendly. Highly rec.
On the 19th floor of 1 Hotel, I visited Harriet’s Rooftop Lounge on a Saturday evening for my date with the sunset😘—and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting. This lively yet intimate rooftop gem offers a stunning blend of austere charred wood and lush greenery, creating a modern yet organic atmosphere that perfectly complements its sweeping views of the Music City skyline. As the sun began its descent behind the tall downtown buildings, the entire space seemed to glow in golden warmth. A talented DJ curated the perfect soundtrack of smooth, upbeat vibes that matched the energy of the evening without overpowering conversation. I sipped on my non-alcoholic libation, completely content, as the city lights slowly flickered to life below. Harriet’s strikes that rare balance between chic and comfortable—ideal for a romantic night out or a stylish gathering with friends. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause, breathe, and appreciate the beauty of Nashville from above. Thankful to JW Marriott's valet service that took care of my baby!
