Absolutely beautiful. Amazing architecture and everything in the house is so detailed. The grounds are very well maintained. In the back there is a beautiful view of downtown Portland. Lots of historic info throughout the house as well. Parking seems like it could get full but there is a decent amount and we found a spot easily at 3 on a Saturday. It is definitely worth a ticket to go inside. The gift shop is very disappointing with most of the items being random junk and only a few items actually having the Pittock mansion customized.
Great place to visit and learn about some of the history of Portland. A beautiful viewpoint overlooking the city. Kind, helpful staff. A place we like to bring out-of-town visitors who enjoy museums. Can be a quick trip to see the major highlights, or you can take your time to read, and learn. Don't forget to visit the caretakers home below the main house as well. Hiking trails around the area are also a plus.

An interesting step back in history via a well maintained and designed home. Paid parking lot, handled onsite with tickets responsible for the tour of the grounds, house and gate house. A beautifully designed and maintained house from the early 1900’s and on. Staffed with friendly and knowledgeable workers and with placards throughout educating about the family, house and times.
The Pittock Mansion they is central in Oregon in history. It is a nicely preserved example of times that I’ve gone by the mansion is absolutely gorgeous, filled with character and a joy to tour. Of course the views are absolutely stunning. The grounds are amazing. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable is a great place to learn about orient history the way which folks lived 100 years ago and appreciate the amazing views. It’s definitely worth checking out, but I gotta say the cost of admissions is a bit high since the entire mansion and staff house can be viewed in less than an hour. Parking on this day was seven dollars. Not a great value, but not crazy expensive either.
An absolutely beautiful and well-preserved historic mansion with stunning architecture and rich Portland history. The interiors are elegant, the exhibits are informative, and the views of the city and Mount Hood from the grounds are breathtaking. A peaceful and memorable experience—definitely a must-visit when in Portland.
